The log from the Log Launcher bounces off troops from the Clan Castle (as if sprung by a Spring Trap) if the log can kill the troop in one hit, but it is unknown why it is bounced off but not crushed when the troop is killed.

At level 1, the Log Launcher is a red and brown caravan made of wood, with a steel casing where the logs are launched. A pipe connects the caravan to the casing. I made one using this design a few years ago and have corrected some problems before making this one for this instructable. This design has held up well. The point on the bottom of the cant handle already goes through he center of the pipe as shown in the third photo of this step. The unbolted leg of the lifter assembly goes in this end of the cant handle with the J-bars of the lifter assembly straddling the point's bolt. The bolted leg of the lift assembly faces away from the cant arm. Logs disintegrate after hitting four buildings, which renders buildings and Walls after these four safe. You can suppress the logs' effectiveness by placing high-hitpoint buildings in a group, close to the outside, so that the logs will stop prematurely (preventing further damage) if launched at these buildings.For example, some steel tools are stronger than other steel tools. If you have trouble inserting the lift assembly legs in the cant pipe it is probably because the point's bolt was not exactly centered. I know this from experience. When the Log Launcher successfully reaches the Town Hall (or its remains), it automatically breaks apart to reveal the Clan Castle troops inside. I personally prefer to spend a little extra money upfront to buy stuff that will last years (or even decades). This strategy has worked well for me, and I’ve probably actually saved money in the long run. 2. Handle Length / Capacity

Substitutions of these can be made but since the existing holes in the J-bars are 3/8" the 3/8" bolts are easiest

Site Customisation

From the log roller, the log is easily rolled onto the sawmill. The log roller with mount is fitted to the cross beam in front of the sawmill log bed to enable the log to move lengthwise. Use several log rollers to build a conveyor table suited to your needs. If both sides are elevated, you can cut from both sides. Just be mindful of how the log is balanced, and be careful while you cut, because the position of the log can shift as some of its weight is removed with each chunk. Use 3/8" bolts in the two drilled holes to fasten the cut point between the J-bars with the point facing towards the inside of the J. See Step 2 for the correct orientation. A Cant Hook is a tool used to roll a log. A Cant Hook is great for handling logs, cants and beams around the sawmill and rolling logs when cutting firewood. I use it exclusively for the latter. For example you cut half way through a log, and to avoid hitting the dirt with the chainsaw you roll the log halfway, and complete the cut(s). You can use it to reorient a log by moving only one end etc.
