The NEBO Big Larry 2 is a 2 in 1 multi-functional unit that has a top light torch output of 200 lumens from a single LED and a work light output of 500 lumens from the high power COB LED. We also compare how widely and evenly all the torches we test spread light at a distance of 10 metres.

Great for hands free use, Big Larry 2 has a strong magnet on the base of the torch, perfect for work on the car or in a workshop, and the base can also stand freely on flat surfaces.

We switch on each torch to its brightest setting and record how well it lights up a set area at distances of 5 metres, 10 metres, 25 metres, 50 metres, and 75 metres. Four light modes of torch, work light, red light and red flashing are available and are cycled through with each press of the push button located on the front of the light. The torch, work light and red light are all dimmable between 100-10% output. When the light is turned on the in any of these outputs simply hold down the button and the brightness will gradually begin to dim before then getting brighter again. Release the button at the desired output for the task at hand. We charge up the rechargeable torches and use fresh batteries for those that require them, and then switch them onto their brightest settings to time how long they last before running out of battery or having significantly reduced brightness.
