Explore our interactive galleries, get hands on with science busking, discover the past, present, and future of space exploration, and even blast off on a journey into low Earth orbit ( subject to availability). Written by an astrophysicist from University College London and illustrated by the phenomenally talented Chris Wormell, Planetarium explores the solar system, the sun, the night sky as seen from Earth, the stars, galaxies, and the universe as we know it. Connect with the cosmos and choose an Add-On ticket to visit The Planetarium and enjoy one of our live presenter-led star shows, or a fulldome film, when you book your visit to Glasgow Science Centre.

You can also enjoy spectacular fulldome films, like "We Are Aliens" which is narrated by Rupert Grinch.The Planetarium at Glasgow Science Centre is a spectacular state-of-the-art fulldome digital projection system. The planetarium is part of the Royal Observatory, at the top of a hill with spectacular views across London. Members can enjoy free and fast-track access to all our sites, although we strongly recommend booking ahead for limited capacity events such as Planetarium shows. Queen Heaven' pairs some of the band’s greatest hits with colourful images and archive footage, while 'Dark Side of the Moon' sets iconic album tracks alongside captivating visuals all in the striking surroundings of Glasgow Science Centre’s Planetarium.

The fascinating story of Katherine Johnson, who yearned to know about numbers and the universe, and ended up calculating the flight paths to the moon despite numerous obstacles. We have everything from light snacks to full afternoon tea, and food stalls are available throughout Greenwich Park.The Universe is a vast and intriguing place, and this show explores our own little corner of it: the Solar System. In addition to his children's books, Chris undertakes other illustration work including advertising campaigns, packaging and, issued in January 2005, a set of stamps featuring farmyard animals for the Royal Mail. The Royal Observatory at Greenwich is the home of time and space, the Prime Meridian and Greenwich Mean Time (GMT).
