About this deal

After enabling ANC on the OneOdio A10, I could immediately tell that it is better than on the A30 and it’s very similar to the Apollo. The passive sealing does have an important role, but you can tell that the world gets more silent after enabling the ANC On mode. One of the main reasons why ANC was developed was to limit the impact of engine noise on aircraft pilots and then it became a standard for people that travel long hours by plane. So, can the OneOdio A10 negate the droning noise?

Bouncing around my music library it soon became obvious that the A10s shine in Pop, R&B and Dance rather than Jazz, Folk or Classical. It’s very much a case of being better at some genres rather than being bad at others, though. Coltrane’s “Love Supreme” still sounded good, as did Myrkur’s outstanding new album “Folkesange”. Like many modern headphones, OneOdio's A10 Hybrid ANC headphones can fold down compactly to fit inside a case---which is included, by the way. Where the ear cups fold down, the joints are reinforced metal, which is nice for longevity since the joints are always the first piece to break in a pair of headphones. The OneOdio A10 feature the Bluetooth 5.0 standard together with the SBC and AAC codecs. The connection is stable, but it doesn’t offer a wide range. What’s In the Box: 1* OneOdio A10 Hybrid ANC Headphone, 1* EVA Case, 1*3.55mm Audio Cable, 1* Type C Charging Cable, 1* User Manual

Well made, comfortable and acoustically competent, there’s not much more you can ask for from a pair of budget wireless ANC headphones. The A10 enhances the video watching experience. I was pleased to discover that there were no sync issues between video and audio while enjoying YouTube videos or movies on my phone. Furthermore, the A10 delivers excellent gaming performance with minimal latency, even when playing fast-paced online games. Sound When OneOdio first reached out and asked me if I’d like to review their new budget-priced noise-canceling headphones, I was nervous.Bass is to the fore, although sometimes just a little woolly but there’s plenty of detail to be heard as long as the source is good. The nicely judged balance between bass and treble was obvious in the new album by The Slow Readers Club, “Joy of the Return”. The definition between the driving bass lines and guitar riffs that typify the recent work of this Manchester band was spot on. If you’re doing some online holiday/Christmas shopping for yourself or a loved one and you’re interested in a bass-centric sound, but want to start somewhere cheaper than Sony’s Extra Bass lineup, these are a decent choice. Nothing here outright screams “cheap” or “bad,” with no creaking or squeaking apparent during my time with them. I’ll post a small update should that change in the future. Transparency mode is adequate, but can make your own voice sound a little raspy in your own ears, and whilst there is only a minor amount of static noise that wasn't enough to bother me, it may not be to everyone's liking. It handles mid-distance conversations well, but any further and it may struggle - if someone is shouting at you from the other side of the room, you'll probably hear it, but you may not be able to decipher every word.
