While you may have some of your other musician friends may have told you about how insecure wall hangers are, you should know that wall hangers are only insecure if they aren’t installed properly. Can I use a wall hanger if I don’t have an acoustic guitar?
If you are looking for a functional and cheap (but reliable) hanger, you can opt for our Best Budget option WOGOD Guitar Hanger – it is steady, sturdy, reliable, and gets the job done at half the price. For a little more money, you can opt for the Gator Frameworks hanger, which isideal for matching your room décor as they have the most finish options on our list. You could make your own DIY guitar wall hanger with materials you have (wood, hooks, etc) but unless you are very handy, we’d suggest just buying a wall-mounted guitar hanger so you don’t accidentally damage your guitar or the wall.It came with all the required hardware, too, including the screws and drywall anchors that you’ll need to mount it properly. The well-balanced construction holds the instrument securely and can handle 22 lbs of weight. If you don’t necessarily have the time, space (or studs) to hang multiple individual guitar holders, an all-in-one guitar hanger for multiple guitars is a great option. We loved that we could adjust the angle of the connecting rod to hang our guitars at a custom angle. This hanger is also available with a narrow profile that would be ideal for electric guitars or narrow-body guitars, and also in a standard profile that will work well for an acoustic guitar. The yoke is covered in rubber that provides protection and padding. It also provides extra grip to prevent the instrument from slipping. Unfortunately, I was unable to get information about the type of rubber used, but users with lacquered guitars found that their instruments didn’t get damaged even after months of use.
