An elevated chlorine level isn’t usually a serious problem, but it can lead to some complications with the balance of your water. It also makes for a less enjoyable swim.

Do not pour this product into a pool skimmer basket containing chlorine tablets or any other product. Champion Chlorine Reducer will remove excess or high levels of bromine or chlorine from your pool water. You should monitor the level of active bromine in your pool with a bromine test kit and adjust your brominator to give a bromine level between 2-4ppm. Pre-dissolve the product in a clean plastic container at a maximum rate of 100g of product per 2.2 gallons (10 litres) of clean warm water. Stir well to ensure product is fully dissolved. Storage and Handling:

As a general rule, 2 litres of swimming pool dechlorinator per 10,000 gallons of pool water will reduce the chlorine level by 5ppm. Just be sure to remove all chlorine sources from your pool. Turn off the chlorinator or saltwater chlorine generator, and take any chlorine tablets out of the pool skimmer or floater. You’ll also want to leave your pool cover off during this time, at least during the day.
