About this deal

Austin Lee, the Warriors’ rookie outfielder, finds himself right in the center of a blonde tornado called Molly. Her fiance died, he gave her the time and space to heal, but he always admired her from far away. Never in one million years did he believe he would be bedding the woman of his dreams and planning a future with her in the starring role as his leading lady. Royally Not Ready will absolutely end up on my physical book shelf at some point and I can’t wait to read more from this author. Which brings me to Lilly. Girl has been seeing this man for a few MONTHS but when he left her at the alter, she gets sooo upset she decides to starvr herself to death?! Come on! Heartbreak is understanding, but to the point that your family has to get IV in you? When someone brings you down, the answer is not to let them make you wither away. Ridiculous and really bad example for women. And when she does reunite with him, she understandably is angry, but even while saying "I hate you" she proceeds to bang him while straddling him?! You dont bang someone you hate or who hurt you like that! Ugh. And then they had the nerve to say their relationship wasn't solely based on sex? It was literally ALL about sex for them! this book was an emotional gymnasium and i'm still crying. i just finished this book at 5am and i'm not sure i'm going to be sleeping any time soon, but Meghan Quinn did it again. I'm speechless. Of course, I didn't follow him. I might be up for a good time, but I'm also educated enough to know leaving with a stranger isn't smart. Well, that's until he mentioned my mom's name. My mom who passed away several years ago.

First baseman for the Atlanta Warriors, named Brady Matthews, is well known for being Atlanta’s gigolo and believed he was just taking Michael Banks, a new teammate, out on the town. He didn’t realize his friend from college, Jane, would turn up at their table and turn his whole world upside down. I’ll just lay it out there… in my opinion, this is Meghan Quinn’s best work. I thought I loved Royally Not Ready, but with the edition of this next chapter for Keller and Lilly, she legit hit it out of the park. Fans fell in love with each and every one of the friends in the novel. These characters are so well written that readers felt each tear and all the laughter. Readers enjoyed all the glimpses into the lives of all these characters. Brady and Jane are simply delicious. Fans enjoy all the drama, the hot times, and some irrational and sweet times, with some devastation. Of course, I didn’t follow him. I might be up for a good time, but I’m also educated enough to know leaving with a stranger isn’t smart. Well, that’s until he mentioned my mom’s name. My mom who passed away several years ago.

We are oil and water every single day and even though he’s training me to be queen, I have this simmering desire to kneel before him. 📚 BUY A COPY OR READ FREE ON KINDLE UNLIMITED! The narration by Emma Wilder and John Hartley is simply fantastic. Emma is a downright comic genius in this performance, and she had me in stitches. I loved how she captured Lilly's spirit and zest for life. She's seriously one of the absolute best in the business. John Hartley was the perfect foil for our free spirit, and he embodied the battle between Keller's propriety and his desire.

I’ve already mentioned how Royally No t Read y is filled with laugh out loud scenes. I spent a good hour of my reading laughing so hard I had tears coming out of my eyes. The snark in the dialogue between the two main characters is absolutely amazing. I loved how these two interacted and dealt with the situation they had. I was a little worried that there wasn't going to be much to their story other than the physical relationship seen as book one ended perfectly so there was no drama (YET. not that I would've complained - Kellers mouth is 🥵) but wow wow wow I had no need to be worried at all. This book was full of ups and downs and it kept me gripped from chapter one. I have never cried so hard at a MQ book - and I sobbed HARD at Untying the Knot. This was true Keller and Lilly as we know and love them already but so much deeper and more vulnerable. Now I am huge fan of Meghan Quinn, everyone who knows me, knows this. However Royal Romances are really not my jam. So when Royally not ready landed on my e-reader I was curious to see if Meghan could change my mind. Eventually the relationship starts and the sexual harassment ends and of course it gets steamy! Then they immediately fall in love. There is also a lot of the author’s typical humor. I think if you were a fan of the Highland Fling by the author you might enjoy this. The heroines are similarly outspoken and audacious.

There is no way to explain, This burning, merciless feeling, Biting through my bones. It eclipses my thoughts, It burrows into my veins, A cataclysmic force so strong, I can’t breathe. I need you. I broke us. It’s broken” Royally Not Read is a standalone rom-com by Meghan Quinn, told from both points of view with a happy ending. Megan Quinn’s books are always a delight to read and now I’m super interested in getting the illustrated edition! Welcome to Shh... [Smut, Heroes & HEAs], a reader group dedicated to contemporary Romance & Erotica. Forced to stay in a long abandoned castle while she trains, the two find out they have far more in common than they realize and things start heating up between the two. Will her new status make a possible relationship between them impossible?
