Peach schnapps is made by flavouring grain alcohol with peach. It has less alcohol content than spirits like gin, rum and whisky, traditionally sitting at around 15% and 20% ABV. Add some botanicals. Herbs and berries, such as a few crushed raspberries and a spring of basil, are delicious. Club Soda: This adds a bit of fizz and slightly dilutes the strong peach syrup flavor for the best balance. Club soda is best for this drink because it adds fizz without other flavors, unlike sprite. As a substitution, you could use an unflavored sparkling water. Who doesn’t love a cold beverage on a hot day? Especially when said beverage utilizes the freshest, juiciest peaches and a flavorful burst of mint! Otherwise use whatever brand you have on hand. Since this is a mixed drink, you don’t need to use super high quality gin. If you don’t have gin, you can also make this drink with rum or vodka instead.
