In 2011, Hasbro introduced the talking Play-Doh cans, the official mascots featured on the product's cans and boxes. On March 17, 2022, it was announced that a new animated film adaptation is in development at Entertainment One and its parent company Hasbro, Emily V.
Keeshan loved the product and made an arrangement with McVicker to use Play-Doh at least once a week on his show. When the Great Depression hit and wallpaper sales declined, Kutol Products had to find a new use for their product. The original Play-Doh logo, comprised of the words in white script inside a red trefoil-shaped graphic, has changed little over the years. Sales soared in 1958 when Play-Doh was featured in televised ads on “ Captain Kangaroo,” “ Ding Dong School” and “ Romper Room.
