As someone who works in HR, Blake is unwilling to cross any lines with an employee, so he tries to cut off contact. There’s a dash of the miscommunication trope that doesn’t overstay it’s welcome but adds a bit of drama. All in all, Accidentally Amy by Lynn Painter is a breezy, short, endearing rom-com that can easily be read in one sitting.
