About this deal

Polaroid Now I-Type features a small screen that shows you when the battery is low and how much film is left. Instant cameras offer a uniquely satisfying and delightful photographic experience, turning moments into beautiful keepsakes you can treasure. Completing the package, Polaroid has thrown in five physical lens filters in a neat little barrel-shaped pouch. Designed for modern iType film, the Now+ also takes old 600 film and produces excellent shots from both, though inevitably you will waste quite a few shots while getting the hang of all the many creative features. The supplied pack of gel filters can be slipped in front of the flash to change the hue of your shots.

Fujifilm has ingeniously combined retro aesthetics with state-of-the-art technology, transforming every snapshot into a unique, high-quality print.

The film comes in both colour and monochrome, and there are also a few options with different coloured frames. The Silly Face Detector that scans a photo and tells you how silly you in percentage are was also a hit: “68% Genius”, apparently.

The brand's iconic aesthetic, with its rich colour saturation and dreamy tones, adds a unique character to each photo, turning every snapshot into an instant classic. With as much enthusiasm and prolific snapping as a young Robert Frank, six-year-old Bethany, three-year-old Will, nine-year-old James and 14-year-old Mary got to grips with the latest range of instant and digital cameras aimed at kids and teens. Build quality could be better but this is an excellent instant camera for youngsters or for parties where you don’t want to risk a pricier camera falling into the hands of a sozzled snapper. The best camera deals, reviews, product advice, and unmissable photography news, direct to your inbox!Bringing Instax tech to a bigger print, these square-shaped snaps measure 86 x 72mm with a picture size of 62 x 62mm. But, if you’re looking for a modern pastel polaroid camera with advanced shooting settings, then the Kodak Mini Shot Digital camera would be the best choice. The bundle also includes a clever lens cap that doubles as a wireless remote shutter control for self-portraits, rather than just hand-held selfies. It takes 10-15 minutes to develop and like the larger Polaroid film, you need to be really careful about shielding snaps from light while they develop. The only real downside to the SQ1 is that there are no creative modes or even a timer, and there’s also no ability to turn off the flash.

Your film preference also makes a huge difference and comes down to a fine balance between quality and cost. New additions to the app include an Aperture mode that lets you play around with depth of field for focused shots with a blurred background, along with a new Tripod mode to help capture long exposures. The touchscreen on the camera is slick in use too and lets you set your preferences to adjust features such as brightness or to use voice control. The camera lets you live stream 1080p footage to a number of social media accounts should you wish and this can be controlled very easily – albeit perhaps a little too easily for some parents liking – via the app.

On the back, you have the power button, flash button, and an LED counter to show how many shots you have left. I love the pastel color way in this spread, the small Polaroid next to the title is also a good way to fill out the white space. So whether inside with dim lighting or outside in the glaring sun, the camera will do the hard work to capture as much of background as possible.
