I've read somewhere that it smells jammy and it does!. Smells like a dark raspberry jam. Longevity is easily above average, yet I would describe the scent profile as muffled, shy and dark. I cannot afford Oud Ispahan but with the potency in this fragrance, it can compete very well with Dior. It’s good, but linear and a bit simplistic. It doesn’t smell like oud per se—oud has complexity and facets. This more smells like very dark woods, and yes it does smell synthetic, but not bad. Along with the woods, some sweetness and some rose.

Oud Touch actually has a very modest herbal facet overshadowed by sweet yummy notes. One day I noticed herbal wiffs resembling Yatagan and got confused since I haven't used that for months. In the end I realized that it was the olibanum and patchouli from Oud Touch I applied to my pillow days ago.) I buy it today. in my point of view it is very similar to terre dhermes but there are alittle diffrences between these two. When I first used this it was summertime and I lost the bottle before winter came. Had I used this in slightly colder weather it would be great, really meant for spring/fall (anything under like 70 degrees) in my opinion. A dark, aromatic oud countered with an uplifting, light incense note. The raspberry is of the synthetic type but it's very faint. Actually, this way it accompanies the florals quite well. If you're familiar with it you'll know what I mean when you smell it.Update: It performed above average, the dry down lasting 10+ hrs at least as a wafting skin scent with some heft to it. My gf likes it.) Wow, They should name it Rose Bomb instead of Oud Touch, It open up with sweet fruits, and incense, spices, resin and rose when it's settled down, amber and musk at the dry down. The combination of rose and incense is fantastic. I do not smell any oud or vanilla.

Right off the bat you get sweet fruit, then rose and oud, then oud and incense. Other notes might be detected throughout the day (yes, it lasts that long), but are not as pronounced as the rose and oud!Its duration is eternal, and I mean it very seriously, you can spend a whole day with this perfume on your skin and projecting, so be careful with the application. Be careful, you'll overspray this beast very easilly! Super strong and long lasting scent! I'd use only 1 spray of this. Actually I find this one too strong for me to use. I dont want to be the guy at a public whos fragrance smells from 20 meters away. I haven't smelled Dior's Oud Ispahan, so can't comment on similarities, but... Oud Touch reminds me of Estee Lauder's Amber Mystique, which is discontinued and becoming hard to find. I am not suggesting Oud Touch is exactly the same as the Lauder; AM is a much smoother - and quieter! - fragrance. I usually always skip perfumes that are in this price category; maybe I am being too snobbish but I just think 20-25 dollars worth of perfume just would not be the quality I expect a perfume to be.

Similar scents are bound to cost a lot more. I may state more expensive similar perfums, like the examples of Trade Routes Collection - Cairo from Penhaligon's, or Oud Isphaan by Dior. Essence of the smoke shop thats been in your town since the 80s. It still has wood paneling, is way too dark, and probably hasnt been renovated since opening.It's a perfume that grows on you. It has amazing sweet caramel notes, strong on the rose but goes fantastic with the amber/oud-y note with a nice little vanilla & ample musk to finish it off. Heavy artificial/synthetic smell for the 1st 5-10 mins. Dry-down is just beautiful.
