Very easy to install. Place on ground, or on suitable earth stake, and attach power lead from power terminal (red) to fence and the earth lead from earth terminal (green) to earth stake and swith on. That's it! Our courier will send you a 1-hour delivery window on the day of delivery and you have the option to change this if required at no extra charge or you can also let the courier know that you want the parcel left in a safe place.An electric fence is a barrier used to keep your animals safely within your enclosure or to keep other animals out. The M5000i is an extremely powerful, intelligent fence energiser that is suitable for multiple wire fences up to 100 km. Movable fencing, also known as mobile fencing, is a temporary enclosure that is easy to move. This often involves the use of lightweight, easily transportable posts in combination with electric wire and a mobile electric wire device. Mobile fencing is the ideal solution for dividing your pasture into multiple (small) sections. Mobile fencing is often used in a sheep pasture, for example, using our fencing nets. Fencing materials Solar powered energisers either come with an in-built solar panel or are compatible with external solar panels. The solar panel will charge the battery during daytime to power it all through the night. Solar panels will power your energiser even during cloudy winter days. They are excellent for providing fencing in locations where mains power is not available. The build quality is what you'd expect from Gallagher with all that's important easily accessable on the front face. The tough casing has the power & earth terminals, the battery indicator light and the on/off switch all at the top above the solar panel. The underside has a recess that allows the unbit to sit ontop of a steel Ypost of suitable earth stake. The groove at the rear of the housing allows you to hang the unit on a nail/screw on a fencepost. The energiser can also be operated and turned on/off from the external display and you get immediate notification of power loss e.g if a branch has fallen onto the fence or a wire has been cut.Permanent fencing, as the name suggests, is fencing that is not movable. This is ideal for enclosing a herd of horses, cows, etc. The materials for a permanent fence are different from those for mobile fencing. Gallagher, for instance, offers various types of field gates for permanent enclosures. Mobile fencing Solid magnetic switch: conventional switches are often susceptible to dirt and moisture. The robust switch prevents the ingress of water and dirt.
