About this deal

Insulation window film can have strong benefits when properly installed and is the most cost-effective option for reducing energy bills all year round. With similar window film products available for DIY installation, there have been some negative stories about the effectiveness of insulation window film. We explain everything there is to know about this great product. What is insulation window film?

The great thing about thermal curtains is they not only help keep your home warm but they can help keep your home cool as well. During the winter, they prevent draughts and help retain the heat in your home but, in the summer, the curtains can absorb the heat coming through the window and keep your home at a more comfortable temperature. This product seems to be particularly adept at maintaining light within the rooms after use, which other types have been criticized for, although none of those products has made our collection. The cost of the tesamoll is again a very small investment with so much to gain. Moveable embedded panels within walls are not new; however, we do not see them for several reasons: One thing to be mindful of is condensation. As polyester is inherently moisture-resistant, it can become an issue if you’re not careful. That said, polyester is easy to spot-clean so it won’t be hard to keep your thermal blind in good shape.

Window films can be professionally applied by a skilled installer or are available for do-it-yourself projects at home improvement stores.

A great addition for everyone with a Motorhome are Silverscreens, Motorhome Thermal Screens, Interior Screen Covers and Exterior Windscreen covers, call them what you want to but fitting a silver thermal screen to your motorhome has lots of benefits. Thermal motorhome screens have accumulated layers that give added warmth protection to your van, the greater the amount of layers the more warmth is usually kept in your van, for summer make use of the screen covers as they help reflect the light and summer heat from you van. Another major advantage of the silverscreens will be to reduce the amount of condensation build up in your van, by reduction of the power of the sun’s rays from reaching your windscreen. The silverscreens behave as a buffer between cold and hot air, reducing condensation from forming inside your van. When fitted the blinds will even lessen the suns UV rays from bleaching the colour of the upholstery inside your motorhome cab. See Motorhome Thermal Screens for a selection of thermal screens for your motorhome including those manufactured bu Milenco and Fiamma. Window awnings can reduce solar heat gain in the summer by up to 65% on south-facing windows and 77% on west-facing windows. You can use an awning to shade one window or have an awning custom-made to shade the entire side of your house. If draughts are particularly bad, consider attaching the curtain to the wall with velcro or double-sided tape. At the very least, the curtain panels should be large enough that they can comfortably overlap in the middle to prevent heat from escaping your room. Google Tag Manager -->
