The RC-5 is clearly the most advanced compact loop station when you compare it against the RC-1 or RC-3. Your main issue when getting started with looping will be timing, particularly if you’re playing with a band. It’s also a great way to learn, practice or improve your playing by quickly and easily creating your own backing track to jam along with.
The RC-1 is the first Looper in the RC Loop Station range, perfect for first-time “Loopists” or beginner musicians. If you want something compact, but you don’t want to sacrifice features, the RC-5 is hands-down the best choice.
