About this deal

I had great success with your feel guide this week, thank you so much! It was generally a pretty easy series to identify IMO, but your flagging the key components and how to not confuse them with similar ones was massively helpful. Miguel Rivera idolises Ernesto and has an opportunity to meet him after entering the Land of the Dead accidentally. This minifigure accordingly includes a painted skull on his face, to avoid alarming other residents of the afterlife! The character's cheerful expression looks brilliant and I love the alternative face too, which seemingly represents Miguel's grito, a tuneful yell common in Mexican music. I don't have anything nice to say about Coco, though. It was fine, but not hugely exciting. Probably one of those "ideal for a CMF series" with some characters, but not a lot of distinctive build content from the movie that would create great sets.

I’m very flexible and strong. Doing a handstand is no problem (elves not included). I’m also easy to build. No advanced building techniques were used in my construction. And I’m highly poseable, with an incredibly solid build. Another unique head has been developed for Prince John, featuring even greater detail than Robin's! Once again, the animated fur texture looks good and John's crown includes moulded jewels around the edge. However, I wish these colourful gemstones had been highlighted with printing to reflect their onscreen appearance. How to find one: Feel for Tiana’s dress piece, which has one curved end, and a flat surface on the other (which narrows down to The Queen, Aurora and Tiana), and confirm with the 2 x 3 tile. Here’s a look at the Disney 100 minifigures blind bag, which have a “random” minifigure inside. The colour scheme is an satin-y, opalescent silver. This is the final LEGO Collectible Minifigures series that will come in blind bags, as the next series will be in more sustainable (and unfeelable) cardboard boxes. While the Cruella blind bag contains a number of elements, I found her to be one of the more non-descript characters that was a bit harder to identify. She comes double bagged, but so do a number of other characters. The blind bag also contains a dalmatian puppy, but it is inside the second bag and hard to identify. However, Cruella’s hairpiece feels like it has two buns on it. This threw me off because I imagined them being behind the head and I could not think of a character in the series who would come with buns. As it turns out, they are Cruella’s tufted bangs. Finally, the blind bag comes with a 1×1 tile which is rounded on one side and square on the other. It is hard to find, and Baymax also comes with this element, so be careful using it as an identifier.I only sell original LEGO minifigures that have been obtained new by me in original boxes, or from reputable sources. Baymax attracted particular attention when these Collectable Minifigures were revealed, not necessarily for the right reasons. This famously chubby robot from Big Hero 6 does not seem entirely appropriate for a conventional minifigure, despite using specialised arms to recreate his inflatable body. These are only partially successful, in my opinion.

In the manga, Hiro also builds Baymax's red armor first while the simpler, green armor from the movie is seen in the prologue, indicating it was built later on and possibly for a different purpose. Joining Robin Hood is Prince John, the main antagonist of Robin Hood, the greedy Lion that steals from the poor to enrich himself. The minifigure is also accompanied by a standard guitar and his dog, Dante. Even though this dog element was not originally designed to represent a Xoloitzcuintle, it definitely suffices and Dante's bizarre expression perfectly conveys his goofy personality from Coco. It’s another one of Disney’s iconic characters, and interestingly, LEGO have decided to give him the standard minifigure treatment, with his face printed on a regular minifig head, instead of a moulded head. The Queen of Hearts is a larger-than-life character, and is a welcome addition to Alice and the Cheshire Cat, which we got in Disney Minifigures Series 1. LEGO have absolutely nailed the Queen of Hearts’ character design, with the appropriate use of the wide dress piece that we’re starting to see on a more frequent basis. LEGO have really nailed the Mulan minifigure, and I’m so glad that she made the cut in this series! Switching over to modern Disney, we finally get Big Hero 6, the anime-inspired film from 2014, with the adorable Baymax making an appearance for the first time. How to find one: The Queen of Hearts is really easy to feel for thanks to her massive skirt piece. You won’t miss it as it’s the chunkiest element in this entire series. The set was provided for review by LEGO. All opinions expressed are those of the author. Minifigures

Like Robin Hood, Prince John’s head and crown are one solid moulded piece, and is really well designed. In particular, I really like Prince John’s piercing eyes, staring menacingly just below his crown. Originally in Marvel Comics, Baymax was a synthformer robot powered by water, built by Hiro himself as a school project. Before Baymax's completion, however, Hiro's father Tomeo died, so the boy programmed Baymax's A.I. with his father's thoughts and emotions to keep his memory alive. Therefore, Baymax became Hiro's closest friend and protector. How to find one: Pocahontas’ large hairpiece has a very distinct shape, with the windswept part feeling flat, with ridges on one side. You can also feel for the three leaves which litter the bag. The moment when Tadashi introduced Baymax to his friends and Aunt Cass is unknown, as it is never shown on-screen. There is however a picture from Hiro's phone shown in " Steamer's Revenge" where Tadashi, Hiro, Baymax and the rest of the group are all together, hinting that Tadashi may have introduced Baymax to them during the time Hiro was working on his Microbots. It is also possible that they knew Tadashi was building Baymax and met him before Hiro did. While it’s not the most detailed minifigure, I appreciate the historical significance of Oswald to Disney’s history, so it makes for a really cool character to include in this series, as it would be very hard to find a home for otherwise. After Sora and Baymax fought and defeated Dark Baymax, Hiro destroyed the fighting chip that is the robot's heart, and he replaced it to restore the original Baymax to his proper nature, giving team of the Kingdom Hearts universe two Baymaxes. And 2 - none of the Dalmatian puppies had tags on their collars in the classic movie; the parents had them, but the puppies only got theirs at the beginning of the sequel. For the movie, a video by Rotoscopers from 2013 and early information regarding the movie's plot somewhat implies that Baymax was originally going to be built by Hiro only after Tadashi's death to fill his void, just like in the comics, before this was changed to Tadashi being his creator instead.
