About this deal

This is a pretty typical romance book of a bad boy falling for a more “innocent” girl but honestly, I love this type of book. The two have an incredible chemistry and respect for each other, everything from their communication from consent, to what they wanted in the bedroom to what they wanted for their futures. If you're looking for help with a personal book recommendation, consult our Weekly Recommendation Thread, Suggested Reading page, or ask in r/suggestmeabook. if im being honest romance books should not be longer that 500 - 600 pages because there is barely any plot and most of the chapters in this book are just them having sex anyway. This felt affected and simultaneously served the role of being pretentious and completely superfluous.

He is the author of numerous books, including The German Left: Red, Green and Beyond and The German Predicament: Memory and Power in the New Europe. His sleuthing leads him to find Kofi, a young player from Ghana who has been duped by a crooked agent. Even their fathers are on the complete opposite end of the parenting spectrum with Thomas’ dad being evil incarnate and Nicole’s father being wholly understanding about everything including Thomas needing a place to sleep other than his own home. There is also a spin off novel that is about Chase and Bailey's son, Gabriel, who is a big shot NHL player and falls in love with his nanny for his baby.Anyway, if anyone knows of any good romance books that would make me break my streak of books that look like they came from Watppad, I would appreciate them.

His collaboration with Chris Riddell on The Edge Chronicles has taken him to bestseller lists in both the UK and USA. The production, by Futures Theatre, has been developed in partnership with the National Football Museum, Manchester, and the IWM, London. Rebounding after being dumped on her 21st birthday by a very red flag waving boyfriend, Bailey meets Chase one night at a party. The way that the post dark moments were handled was interesting but I wondered if it would be offensive to others. Hockey romances are my favorite thing to read but Bailey is the most dull, boring thing I’ve ever encountered. She ends up still attending his hockey game, her brother plays on the team too, and she goes to a club with some friends after the game. There she runs into Chase, the agitator for her school’s rival team, and while she recognizes him right away, he doesn’t realize who she is. Paul Stewart is an international star who has written everything from travel writing to football stories, fantasy and horror. And Kofi is left to wonder if he’d have been better off without Danny’s help, as Danny goes deeper into the football underworld than he has ever been to try and save Kofi, Holt and himself. So what happens when this girl comes along, turns him down and only to come back and cøckblock him later in the night.

Please note: This listing is for the published, revised version of Offside only as there will be some substantial edits and changes. It was the opposite of slowburn, it moved too fast for my liking, and before I knew it the main characters were together before I really got to know enough about either of them. I was grateful that the page count in this book was a little more than your average book (but it did certainly not feel long or drawn out, so don't misinterpret my comment about the page count), and I was so grateful for the extra pages of this story. It covers recent developments, including the hoopla surrounding the 1994 soccer World Cup in America, the creation of yet another professional soccer league, and American women’s global preeminence in the sport. Which is kind of weird considering I got recommended it as a mix between The Deal and The Risk, which I absolutely loved. The internal monologue of the main male character makes him very hard to tolerate, as he sounds like the douchiest frat boy ever. Still, Offside was a real page turner and I found Thomas’ narration, with the sheer matter-of-factness of the abuse victim, rather heartbreaking in places.
