About this deal

It is a chance for people to meet important quantum experts from across the globe for thought-provoking panels and presentations on the industry’s latest developments and innovative collaborations. The PUZZLE X 2023 conference will be held November 7- 9 2023 in Barcelona, Spain and is the first frontier tech and frontier materials hub in the world.

Landing on my desk today we have the vibrant JBL Quantum Duo PC Gaming speakers and boy am I excited! With the Quantum range released in April 2020, would JBL be able to convince the gaming market that this is a must-have product to adorn your gaming setup? First Impressions Professor Braunstein received a prestigious Royal Society-Wolfson Research Merit Award. He was awarded the honorary title of 2001 Lord Kelvin Lecturer and is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Institute of Physics and the Optical Society of America. Before joining the University of York, he held a Humboldt Fellowship (spent at the University of Ulm). The second Economist Impact quantum computing event of the year and one that The Quantum Insider attended in person last year, this Commercialising Quantum 2023 event takes place on May 17–18, 2023. It will be both a virtual and in-person event in London, UK. Complementarity and uncertainty were two ideas in the early development of quantum mechanics. Famously, Bohr and Heisenberg introduced them separately, after they took a break from a series of intense discussions in Copenhagen in 1927. They both worked at a rather heuristic level, and public presentations of their ideas still tend to reflect this early style and the sense of paradox, which the original authors cherished so much. The 20th International Conference on Quantum Physics and Logic (QPL 2023), from 17–21 July 2023 at Institut Henri Poincaré in Paris, France. We must mention that the list of quantum computing conferences we have collated only highlights those conferences that are targeted towards industry rather than events that are focused more so on the academic and research side of quantum technology. Just so we haven’t left them out, we will list some of the more technical quantum conferences below. Sue Daley, techUKintroduced the topic of commercialisation byasking eachpanelliststo share their personal view of commercialisation.Panellistsagreed that commercialisation is the process of bringing quantum to the people – the end users of quantum technologies and solutions– and out of the research institutions and universities. The lab demonstration of the effect relied on sound millions of times higher in pitch than humans can hear, in a device cooled to temperatures very near absolute zero. Instead of speakers and microphones to create and hear the sound, the team used qubits, which store quantum bits of information ( SN: 2/9/21). The researchers launched a phonon from one qubit toward another qubit. Along the way, the phonon encountered a beam splitter. However, it isn't a must. If you're just looking for a capable stereo set-up, then the other options on our list such as the Razer Nommo Chroma are suitable contenders. Are stereo speakers better than a soundbar better than for desktop? The conversation turned todeveloping roadmaps, and each speaker showcase what is happening in their region. Vikram Sharma discussed theNational Science Organisation Australia (CSRIO), who recentlyreleased a quantum roadmap which showcased some of the opportunities and barriers of quantum in Australia.Ofparticular importance, this roadmapestimatedthatby 2040 Quantum tech would generate 4Billionand create 16,000 jobs in the Nation.Figures like thisshowcase the value of quantum andhelpmotivateindustry toget involved in the quantum ecosystem.

Celia Merzbacher, Executive Director, Quantum Economic Development Consortium, SRI International (United States) If you want some RGB speakers to liven up your desktop without breaking the bank, the Edifier G2000 may be the very thing you need. The Quantum Computing Scalability Conference, organized by National Quantum Computing Centre (NQCC), will take place on March 30–31, 2023 at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford, UK. Alexander Ling, Director, Quantum Engineering Programme and Associate Professor, National University of Singapore (Singapore)

The event bridges the gap between the science of quantum computing and the development of an industry surrounding it. As such, this event brings a perspective to the quantum industry different from academic or business conferences. IEEE Quantum Week is a multidisciplinary quantum computing and engineering venue that gives attendees the unique opportunity to discuss challenges and opportunities with quantum researchers, scientists, engineers, entrepreneurs, developers, students, practitioners, educators, programmers, and newcomers. 16. What surprised me the most was the fact that even with the surround on, which has a huge impact on the primary signal, the accuracy of the panorama is more preserved! Conventionally speaking, Quantum DUO “transfers” the sound to a completely new space, but, despite this, you will still be able to reliably determine from which side the enemy is approaching you. Of course, there are also shortcomings in the sound of this model …. She sits on the Advisory Board of the University College London European Institute, Café Transatlantique, a network of women in transatlantic technology policy and The Nine, Brussels’ first members-only club designed for women. Andreas Winter received a Diploma degree in Mathematics from Freie Universität Berlin, Berlin, Germany, in 1997, and a Dr. math. degree from the Fakultät für Mathematik, Bielefeld University, Germany, in 1999. He was Research Associate at Bielefeld University, and from 2001 with the Department of Computer Science at University of Bristol, UK In 2003, still with University of Bristol, he was appointed Lecturer in Mathematics, and in 2006 Professor of Physics of Information. Since 2012 he is ICREA Research Professor with the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain. He is the recipient of a Royal Society Wolfson Research Merit Award (2007), a Philip Leverhulme Prize (2009) and the Whitehead Prize of the London Mathematical Society (2012). The key stakeholders in the Nordic quantum technology eco-system have teamed up with IQT to launch a unique Nordic quantum technology conference. This year’s conference will be co-hosted by the Danish Quantum Community and the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I want to focus on Bluetooth – it works very well: unlike many wireless systems, the delay is almost not felt; so if you want to connect to speakers from your phone and, for example, watch videos on YouTube, watching will be comfortable. SoundThe event will empower attendees to evaluate if and when they should invest in quantum technologies. The event in 2023’s includes expert speakers who will discuss where quantum outperforms classical computing and will offer a balanced view of the technology’s advantages. 9. IQT NORDICS CES 2022 has been and gone, however, it seemed that news was light on the RGB speaker front, with the main focus being squared on new TVs from the likes of LG, Samsung, and Sony. Sabina loves building communities and bringing people together. She is the founder of the Gentlewomen’s Club and co-organiser of the Young Professionals in Digital Policy. Previously, as a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community, she led several youth civic engagement and gender equality projects.

The Quantum Insider is actively engaged in attending many of these quantum computing conferences and will continue to do so in the future. 15 Quantum Computing Conferences in 2023 1. The Sydney Quantum Academy Conference Laure De Bars, Research Project Director, SAP,and President, European Quantum Industry Consortium (QuIC) (France) Professor Braunstein joined the University of York, in 2003 and is heading a group in quantum computation. He received his PhD in Physics from the California Institute of Technology in 1988.

The eternal question of compatibility: nothing to fear!

Established in Barcelona in June 2021, The Quantum Insider had the pleasure of attending the PUZZLE X event in 2022 where the program included expert speakers, panel discussions etc. on quantum tech. Other Quantum Conferences
