Brut Original has a diverse palate that above all denotes cleanliness whilst edging slightly beyond its Aromatic Fougere fragrance family. Head Notes In 1989, Unilever took over Fabergé. However, the household name was kept on its eau de toilettes until recently as a mark of authenticity and quality. Although there is now a range to suit most male palates, the original cologne remains its greatest success and one of the most familiar fragrances to men of all ages. The atomiser and cap appear to be a cheap plastic, which is unsurprising for the price. However, the atomiser functions exceedingly well with decisive sprays and hearty clouds.

As soon as the overpowering head fades, only a glimmer remains and longevity is consequently poor. Wearers are unlikely to get more than one or two hours of fragrances before it expires entirely. A certain skepticism was present, because in the umpteenth brain drawer was still the scented memory from the 1970s stored.

It is an aroma that combines the virile with the traditional, a stellar conjunction of notes capable of creating an imposing, unforgettable and, above all, endearing stele.At least in my Mini, it came beautifully lavender, slightly rosy, very green and with a skilful balance of delicately sweet and some tangy-spicy notes. Maybe not necessarily an absolute masterpiece, but it's understandable that some of them praise Brut in the highest tones and associate some positive memories with it. Brut is one of those fragrances, which I had often noticed and forgotten in perfumeries, but never was so convincing for me to be bought or worn.
