About this deal

PowaKaddy’s ‘plug ‘n’ play’ battery is the thinnest, lightest and most powerful lithium battery on the market and ensures there are no wires to connect, while the top mounted and easy access on/off switch and simple battery release latch make it supremely simple to use. Some of these come in at lower price points if the price of the leading brands put you off. Some are more premium golf trolleys and are more expensive, however they are all worth considering before commiting. As I have already mentioned, the FX7 GPS trolley felt light to carry - arguably more impressive however was how light it felt to push too. I suppose this can depend on how heavy your golf bag is but still, given the build quality and the amount of features this trolley has, it's light. On many of the flat holes I found myself pushing the trolley with ease around the fairways, sometimes forgetting to even use the motor. I actually found it more nimble than the C2i GPS, which was a big surprise. The FX7 GPS EBS is the most intelligent trolley in the world and the flagship of the PowaKaddy range. Bauer Media Group consists of : Bauer Consumer Media Ltd, Company number 01176085; Bauer Radio Limited,

It's just been tidied up a little for 2020: there is no branding on the side of the chassis, there's no big clips to get in the way, they have lost the drops of yellow that we're used to seeing on PowaKaddy's trolleys but kept the brilliant looking wheels and the gunmetal metallic colourway as well as carbon effect trims to give it that extra premium look. The FX7 GPS is all about giving the keenest of golfers everything they could ever wish for on a golf course, and more. Simply plug in the charger, press the button on top of the trolley until it is green, and wait until it's charged. Slip the battery into the slot with ease and you're good to go. All you then have to do is make the most of the Plug 'n' Play battery system by hitting the button again at the course - the green light appears and you're off. The all-new 2021 FX7 GPS EBS has all the features of the FX7 GPS along with a brand new touch screen with updated graphics for 2021. This trolley also has a self-sensing Electronic Braking System (EBS) that automatically slows the trolley on steep inclines clever technology automatically maintains the desired walking speed giving the golfer complete control.Det er vogne i stilfuldt design, og med et meget enkelt foldesystem, som nu gør vognen 20% mindre i sammenfoldet tilstand.

The stunning all-New 2021 Freeway FX7 GPS puts powerful technology in the hands of those who demand more. The new FX7 GPS with Bluetooth surpasses even these high expectations, focusing on what matters most. Still, once attached and screwed in place it will be up to the golfer whether they choose to dismantle this section of the trolley after each use or not. Personally, if you have the boot size, once screwing it on once, I'd leave it on so this isn't a reoccurring faff. Thanks to the extra cost (over the TwinLine 5), you also get a useful umbrella holder and water resistant mobile phone storage area, plus there are large scorecard, ball and tee holders. The crystal clear 3.5" OCA full colour touchscreen display confidently displays all the information you need to play your best on the course with simple intuitive controls. The charging system is made simple with the addition of the green light on top of the battery to represent when the charge is complete, something other models did not have.

So far, there does not appear to be much to split Powakaddy and Motocaddy but perhaps one area where the latter has a slight advantage is in terms of available accessories. The CT8 GPS joins the CT6 in PowaKaddy’s compact range, and boasts a fully-integrated GPS, accessible via an entirely new 3.5-inch full-colour touch screen display. Within seconds I hit the 'Play Golf' button, selected the course I was playing which was at the top of a list of local courses, then headed to the first tee.

For those who may not have the budget to stretch to a Powakaddy or Motocaddy model, the Pro Rider electric golf trolley range is a good option. I put the shot measure to the test at the par 3 16th at Houldsworth which measures 160 yards off the yellow tees. I hit 7 iron to the front right of the green and then walked from the tee in a straight line, directly in line with the flag which was in the centre of the green. The trolley displayed 157 yards, which is also pretty accurate. The high-performance GPS technology is fully integrated and comes pre-loaded with over 40,000 courses worldwide with no annual fees or subscriptions. Both are available with standard lithium batteries or, if you like to play more than 18 holes or get more than one round out of a charge, there are XL lithium battery options. The all-new FX7 GPS EBS has all the features of the FX7 GPS and a self-sensing Electronic Braking System (EBS) that automatically slows the trolley on steep inclines clever technology automatically maintains the desired walking speed giving the golfer complete control.

It also has handy additional features such as an electronic scorecard and USB charger. There is also an option for a self-sensing electronic braking system so automatically control speed on slopes. The new compact range benefits from a multitude of new features, including a fiv eper cent reduction in weight, weighing in at just 9.8kg. Models also include PowaKaddy’s optional Auto-Cruise Downhill EBS (Electronic Braking System) and anti-tamper dial controls, as well as a Simple-2-Fold system that folds to 20 per cent smaller than the previous trolleys. The warranty on both brands covers manufacturing defects that occur during normal use and accidental damage is not covered. However, Powakaddy and Motocaddy come with great reputations for quality and there should be no issues when using their products. When assembling the frame one thing I was a little disappointed by was the fact that the front wheel is not actually part of the main chassis. Instead you have to attach the front wheel and bar to the trolley yourself. Don't get me wrong, this is no tough task and took me no longer than two minutes with the Allen key and washers provided with the trolley, however I just didn't expect to do it. For the price tag you'd expect PowaKaddy to have done this for you. PowaKaddy’s Second Generation Plug ‘n’ Play™ battery system also features a new, top mounted, easy access on/off switch, a really clever and simple battery release latch and is an impressive 40% smaller than the previous model, while maintaining 100% of its capacity.
