About this deal

Two of the new, colourful rogues, Riddler and Catwoman, have just pulled off the heist of the century, robbing Wayne-Gotham Securities, getting away with 1.

The Clock King gives it away before Batman can even catch up to him, pawning it to a plane stewardess on his flight. If you want to add narration like that, at least have it in braile so it's actually useful to someone. For 3000 years, the Eye of God traveled from Ancient Greece to Gotham, surrounded by the legend that if you held it, you controlled the world.

Whoever it may be, consider joining the TBU Family and contribute awesome content with other dedicated Bat-Fans. The Help and Batman team up reluctantly to chase Catwoman and Riddler but cannot stop a complete bloodbath when the US Government forces meet with hundreds of Penguin’s hired goons, leading to well over a hundred murders. Batman arrives and engages, but Riddler has already gotten what he wanted across the city, using Croc and Catwoman as his distractions and leverage. I feel it was just a way to keep The Help in the comic even though the "main" villain was actually Clock King in the end.

Maybe it’s a commentary on the nature of superhero comics, that are all middle story and no real conclusion, that gets repeated over and over again ad infinitum. I love reading anything with a heist and Catwoman involved, as she's my favourite comic book character. The narration gets tied down in tedious detail that makes sense in the story but gets to be a little much to read. Gradually the structure of the series, plus the overall plot, won me over and I can honestly say I’ll sit down and read this one again. Overall, the story does come together in the end and serves primarily to give a new introduction to a lesser tier villain.Me ha gustado este recurso, aunque también he de decir que se entenderá mejor todo leído de seguido y no a lo largo de meses, ya que hay detalles que me bailan y convendría tener más frescos. But things quickly go wrong as Riddler's penchant for leaving clues tips off both Batman and less savory aspects of Gotham's criminal underworld. There's a considerable body count, quite a bit of obvious bloodshed, and it's framed in a very matter-of-fact way, making it pack an even harder punch. He tells Batman that Ra’s showed him the box seventy-five years prior, bragging that by owning it, he’d conquered the world. Even his story has a kind of wrap up as we’re giving a scene with Batman and Ra’s speaking about him.
