The MagSafe magnet strength is a little better than average, though it twists a little easier than I would like. I may bad mouth the Apple MagSafe wallet, but the Apple is better than any wallet in this top 5 for resistance to twisting. It uses vegan leather (aka synthetic leather), which helps keep the price lower than any other wallet in this review. Admittedly, it’s not the prettiest wallet you’ll ever see, but it compensates with some wild colors and rewards you with its crafty design and steady functionality. The magnet strength feels the most secure when the wallet is aligned properly with the phone, as the ring-shaped magnet is placed to the center of the phone's rear. The stand can be used in three viewing modes: Portrait (default), Landscape, and Float. Landscape involves just putting your device on its side, but Float is a combination of having your device turned in landscape orientation but with the stand in Portrait position.
Practicality: These wallets all contribute to efficiency, holding at least two of your most important cards for easy access without adding too much weight or bulk to your phone. It won't affect chip cards like credit cards, but there’s a chance that magnetic strip cards like ID cards may be affected. A strong magnetic environment will have an impact on the magnetic strip cards. Although the magnet of the stand&wallet is not strong, it could cause interference to magnetic strip cards. The Fantom C is the outlier of the bunch with a radical design made from ceramic-coated aluminum. It holds up to 5 cards that you can access from either side. The card holder slot keeps my cards secure, but easy to push and slide out for easy access. I only wish there was a tad more room for just one more card -- sliding in my paper thin ID is doable, but it's a squeeze.
