There are several points in the 40% of this book that I read that just didn't make sense because they very clearly related to things, people, and situations that happened in the previous books of the series that may or may not have been explained in this one (some of which i had to figure out from just reading the descriptions from the 2 previous books). This is not a standalone, it is part of a series of interconnected stories about crime siblings and their navigation of relationships, where each book is a different sibling.
