Would have preferred something a little closer to a story, but as a simple piece of art, it does its thing. Brand-new elements have been added to four spreads, including a ghost in the closet, a cockroach in the oven, and vampire teeth in the nightstand!I don't know what is about it, but our family and friends find very entertaining , funny and interesting to look at. For the most observant, a game of cat and mouse occurs on most pages, a nod perhaps, to the play between the illustrator and the reader themselves.
