About this deal

comedian Kenneth Williams was known to threaten on occasion, although tantalisingly he kept the journal to himself during his lifetime. He initially expressed frustration over his death sentence, saying "I thought: Have they forgotten I am human, or do they just not care? Frank John Williams (2 July 1931 – 26 June 2022) [1] was an English actor, best known for playing Reverend Timothy Farthing in the BBC television sitcom Dad's Army (1969–1977). Her first private commission in Britain, in 1975, was from Kathleen Hunt of Walthamstow, for a 70 cm resin statue of the Virgin Mary and the baby Jesus ( The Madonna).

The diaries record his opinions about others and many wondered what he had written about them in his "infamous" diaries.

He made several television appearances throughout the 1950s, during series one of The Army Game he made various small appearances and in 1957 was invited back as a regular character, the commanding officer Captain Pocket. Keep in mind that anyone can view public collections - they may also appear in recommendations and other places. Williams was capable of expressing love for a friend or relative one day and contempt the next; that was the nature of the man.

I would recommend it for anyone who's creative, anyone who has to perform, whether as an artist, a musician, an author, a creator in any form. This biography traces the complex contradictions that characterised an extraordinary life and presents the first full portrait of a star who was born brilliant. This volume doesn’t necessarily provide the insight into the Carry On films or Julian and Sandy characters you might expect. And for those who wish to stay there, or indeed have never left it, THE ITTY BITTY HITTY POTAMUS will give them something to think about. He later escaped Broadmoor in July 1947 with a Bible by disguising himself in clerical garb, earning his nickname the Mad Parson.

Playing mostly funny voice roles, Williams stayed in the series almost to the end, five years later. This book cements yet again the fact that Kenneth Williams was a one off, a (flawed) genius and an extraordinary talent. It isn't a book that I'd say you'd read for fun because as I said above, Williams is a miserable sod. Williams, you would think, would hate this type of humor and via his diary he seemed to had very mixed feelings working on this iconic film series. The execution drew attention after Kayla Greenwood, the daughter of Michael Greenwood, bought plane tickets for Williams' daughter, Jasmine Johnson, who he had not seen in 17 years, and his 3-year-old granddaughter, who he had never met, so they could fly from Washington State to Arkansas to meet with him for the last time.
