About this deal

Gallup® Home and Garden is a domestic weed killer, that is a foliar applied total herbicide that is a professional product with an amateur user label. Resistance: As of 2018, 38 weed species distributed across 37 countries and in 34 different crop and 6 non-crop situations had been identified. Apply once grasses and broadleaved weeds have emerged, are actively growing and have adequate leaf area to absorb the spray (normally March to October). Perennial broad-leaved weeds are generally most susceptible when at or near flowering stage. Perennial grasses must have produced fresh leaves which are green and vigorous. A period without rain of at least six hours and preferably 24 hours must follow application. Application Window Doesn’t last long in the soil. This means you can plant in the same spot that you applied the weed killer in roughly seven days. The Weedol brand was launched in the UK in 1906 and has been proving its efficiency for decades. Roundup is produced by Monsanto and acquired by the German pharmaceutical company Bayer. However, these two products differ in both form and ingredients. Best ready-to-use

Dilute at 24ml per 1 Litre of water to treat an area of 40 sq./m. Apply when weeds are actively growing and have adequate leaf area to absorb the spray for best results, taking care to avoid over spray onto more desirable plants. Weeds may show first effects from a few days up to 4 weeks after depending on the weather and type of weed. There's no need to let your garden go completely feral, but we can be more environmentally friendly in the products we choose to control certain weeds, plus consider ways we can promote biodiversity with the flowers we plant, and whether we leave certain patches of our garden to get a bit wilder. Gallup® XL is a professional industrial strength weedkiller containing 360 grams per litre of Glyphosate, a non selective total herbicide. This is the least toxic weed killer with little soil residual. When glyphosate is bound by clay particles, it becomes inactive. Therefore, you can safely use it around trees and shrubs as long as you spray directly and only on weeds. It's best to use the horticultural kind for a fast-acting natural weed killer. Just use with caution as vinegar will kill anything that is green! Make your own eco-friendly weed killer formula What we like about this weed killer is that it uses a unique dual-action formulation. In addition to 125g/l glyphosate, the solution contains 20 g/l diflufenican, a broad-leaved weed herbicide that has been used in Europe for years. Safety precautions? What safety precautions. I was stumped as to how this worked until my 11-year-old pointed out that the instructions were hidden beneath the top label.

Do not walk into treated areas until the spray has dried on the leaves, to avoid transfer to lawns and other wanted vegetation.

Foliar Applied. Can be sprayed or even painted onto the leaves of the weed. From there, it will be absorbed by the plant and even taken down into the roots, killing the entire weed. We all want to keep our gardens looking their best. But many weed killers do a lot more harm than good. So, we've found the best weed killers and natural solutions on the market for a beautiful garden without damaging the environment. The Roundup weedkiller is a ready-to-use liquid solution that contains 7.2g/l glyphosate and provides visible results within 48 hours. According to the US Environmental Protection Agency, glyphosate is safe for human health, however, some homeowners prefer less aggressive alternatives or natural solutions like botanic oils. For example, pelargonic acid works well on small seedling broadleaf weeds but is not efficient in cold weather.
