Disclaimer: I was provided an advance reader copy by the publisher in exchange for my unbiased review and opinions. women are not so weak that they fall whenever a guy says “I was with them but I wanted you”… what BS 💩 I really went through waves with this book. One second I’d love it, couldn’t put it down. The next I’m rolling my eyes trying to convince myself that it’s ok to DNF a book. But I’m stubborn and finished it anyway.

Inevitable has had my feelings going haywire, my heart broke for Aubrey but to read about a young woman who has faced the devil and barely survived to tell the tale. Yet since that fateful day, her life and world are not her own. Can Aubrey finally climb the rest of the way from the depths to finally live as she should? Or will she stay int he hell that was created? he did everything so he could get her her revenge on her dad but did anyone ask her what she wanted? No… maybe she just wanted to be done with him….. after living an abusive life with him. if he left to let her heal then after the time jump a real second chance book would’ve been to make him grovel for leaving her when she was most vulnerable and them actually building something together. Jay and Aubrey are friends and have been for a long time. Aubrey’s mom is Native American and her dad beats his wife and daughter behind closed doors. Aubrey and Jax's story spanned for more than a decade. They met as children, but a tragic circumstance pulls them apart. Although both fought their feelings for years and were caught in a web of lies and deceit, some things are inevitable and so was them coming together at last.The spice: it was fine. The dirty talk was pretty good, but the buildup of these two reconnecting didn’t really land with me because again, I hated Jax. After leaving one night without a word Aubrey built up walls around her heart. Then six years pass. She swears nothing will change and she ain't going down that road again. The romance: what a waste. I was so excited with the setup, but it just kept devolving into something else and I couldn’t keep up. First it was best friends brother/first love. Then it was a trauma bond. Then I thought it was going to be a second chance after healing from said trauma, but it took on a whole new life that was just confusing. Between Jax and Brey they had such a strong connection that even though time passed nothing could break it. These two really are soul mates. I absolutely couldn't put this book down and I desperately needed to see how this story plays out. Can these two souls have there second chance?

This book will have your emotions all over the place and I found myself really rooting for them both. These characters have been through so much together and you could really feel for them as if they were real.Jax Stonewood is more than a myth or a legend has decided to dance with the devil but at what cost? Jax is trying to play the savior to the one woman who holds his entire world in her hands, she just doesn’t realize it yet. Can Jax finally with the battle and take down his demons or will the devil eat him hole?
