About this deal

There were things I really loved about this book, and other things that didn’t quite work for me. I didn’t enjoy it quite as much the first one, but I am SO EXCITED to read the next book! I wasn’t liking Hunter till I was suddenly loving Hunter. His growth in this book just hit me so hard because I understand some of the struggles he’s gone through. Isabel is a sweetheart and I love her, but I am so freaking jealous of her. Drake is perfection for me, I knew going in he was a man whore, what I wasn’t expecting was to come out of this book loving a proud bisexual king. The story, the conflicts, the growth, the ending are all perfect. I loved this book a lot and it solidified Sara Cate for me as an author who I will automatically read anything she writes because it always delivers. Mercy Book Review Once they give in, and even before they actually have sex, it's hot. It's all about the chemistry and the deep connection they have. Maybe it's about the way they sort of hated each other all those years, and angry sex is great sex. All I know is that I was there for all of it.

Warm- a medium level of sexual tension, a balance of sexual and emotional intimacy, lighter on the details in the sexual moments. Praise is an Age-Gap romance with dominance and submission along with a praise kink. If “good girl” is a favorite phrase of yours, this is a must read. Now, Mia has me wanting and doing things I said I’d never do again, like opening upand getting attached. I’m falling for her, but she’s falling for the mystery man I’m pretending to be.I loved the small changes in their relationship. The tiny ways in which it evolves. Garrett's protectiveness against Mia's longing for control. Garrett desperately trying not to give in to temptation and Mia showing him how much he should. She wants him, and she's not shy about it. The way they want each other, body and mind. I absolutely loved that. And finally, I loved how strong Mia was. Was she slightly immature at times? Yep, but she's only 23 and it made sense for her character. But, she was strong in who she was, with her sexuality, and her comfort in front of the camera. I loved that she wasn't afraid of new things. And she wasn't afraid of Garrett's darkness. This one follows Garrett and his step-sister, Mia. Mia came in to his life when she was just 8 and he was in his 20's. Although they didn't technically grow up together, any time they were in the same room they didn't get a long. Until one day, Garrett goes searching for some fun watching cam girls and his now 23 year old step sister tis the girl he finds online.

Man, I had to take breaks in between because things were so intense and my emotions were in overdrive. The same thing also happened when I read Praise and I’m expecting the same thing to happen with the rest of the series. And the way sex kinks are being explored… 😮‍💨 it’s top tier stuff. When I found out we were finally getting a Drake story I squealed because I was that excited. I cannot explain the appeal I had to Drake before reading this book because he is a man whore but something about him called to me and I needed this story. Sara Cate gave me so much more than I thought I was going to get. I do think you make it better. Because I can be myself around you, Mia. I can show you my sometimes ugly mess of a life and you can show me yours, and it doesn’t scare us away.” This book has hotwifing – the act of wanting someone else to have sex with your wife – and polyamory. We deal with self discovery and acceptance a lot in this book in regards to sexuality. We also have scenes where a character is dealing with the trauma of having a homophobic parent and what that did to them.

So I have to start off by saying the first book in this series 'Praise', unfortunately did nothing for me. But I think it just showcases that its perfectly normal and okay that you might not care for one book by an author and you might absolutely love another, even in the same series. Not every book is for everyone. Even if you love the tropes and themes and the author. And that's okay. I think we forget that often. It's was the character connection for me that made a world of difference between the first book and this one. I couldn't connect with the first books MC's, while Garrett and Mia captivated me right away. The hero also has some weird rhetoric about possessivenes and judging other men for not being ok with their women being a cam girl (probably the author's way of making him ok with her job as a cam girl) but that goes out the window when she tries to make him jealous of other men. That's a bit of an inconsistency. Blazing fire to the building-The prime focus is the sex scenes, scorching hot, and could burn one. Less focus on the emotional intimacy to the relationship. Trigger WarningBut overall I liked this book quite a lot, it’s a heavy one and it has a lot going on that made me cringe, but sometimes I like that cringey feeling if it’s done well, which it was. Maybe the reason my marriage is so sacred to you is because you’ve always been a part of it. And maybe what I’m asking you isn’t so crazy, after all.” Sara Cate, Give Me More As one of the four owners of the Salacious Players’ Club, I’m comfortable on the sidelines. This is what I was made to do, and I work better alone. Cate (Burn for Me) opens her Salacious Players Club series with this kinky and sizzling erotic romance. After Charlotte Underwood, 21, breaks up with her boyfriend, Beau, she needs her half Continue reading » Here’s the thing. I shouldn’t be rating this. It doesn’t meet my criteria, since I only read 50% of it. I normally only rate if I read at least 80%. However.
