I understand that the story picks up in the sequel and A Story Like the Wind acts as an introduction to the characters and conflict. Each pack carefully analyses the vocabulary used by authors, chapter by chapter, then provides an explanation of these unfamiliar or meaning-rich words in context. This is one of the shocks in the story that we can either ignore as a fantasy or grapple with as something that was true not many years ago.
