About this deal

Adjust the headrest of the child car seat so that the headrest is, where possible, 1-2 slots higher or lower (subject to the height of the child and additional guidance in the user manual) than its previous position. In general, gentle hand-washing or spot cleaning with mild soap and water is most suitable for maintaining the seat's integrity. But we also believe it’s important for parents to make informed choices about the type of protection they offer your child. Car seats are designed to absorb crash forces through the shell of the seat and spread the remaining crash forces away from the child’s body.

For safety reasons, you should keep your child in each stage for as long as possible – until they reach the weight limit or the head reaches the top of the seat. We've had ours 2 years and whilst its still very useable it's looks scruffy and the cover doesn't fit properly. After an accident in which a child car seat had been involved, the forces absorbed by the seat could lead to fine cracks in the structure which may not be visible to the eye. That’s why we were involved in the first legislation for the requirement of child car seats, ECE R44, and developed the first ISOFIX car seat to make installation easy and intuitive. These kind of questions can help you identify not just which pushchair may be right for you, but which accessories may make all the difference. The recline function came in handy when she was younger and she was able to sleep in the car with ease. GROUP 1 (9 – 18 kg): Approved Installation if your car has ISOFIX and a Top Tether anchorage point and is suitable for ISOFIX child seats size class B1 (9 – 18 kg)– See vehicle hand book for details.

Though still suitable from birth (with an optional carrycot), they are designed to carry children until 15kg or 4 years. Some of our models have been designed with northern climates in mind – with 3M ScotchliteTM reflective strips for visibility in lowlight conditions. The harness sits closely against the bony parts of the pelvis (the crotch and hip straps) and across the shoulders and rib cage (the shoulder straps). At the moment she's only 2 and does have plenty of room in the seat itself but her legs sort of lean up against the seat in front, so I'm not sure how it would last her until she's 4 (and she's petite so isn't really tall). Your rear facing (normal baby type) seat might not fit on the coach, I had same prob as poster above and nd to wedge it in, belt wasn't long enough and not enough space. She was in the seat from 9 months up until last month and enjoyed many journeys and sleeps in this seat.

There probably wouldn't be room for a rear facing seat on a coach, but your could certainly look at the Britax Prince or Britax Eclipse forward facing seats. The better your problem and question is described, the easier it is for other Britax-Römer owners to provide you with a good answer. When your child is sitting in the child car seat, make sure that the vehicle seatbelt runs smoothly and securely through the upper belt guide and lower belt guide.
