Averaging about 60Mb up and down, but can get 100Mb/sec on a good day. Beats the 20mb down / 1mb up that BT "fibre" could offer me (Openreach cancelled FFTP roll out on my road ). It would be normal for your phone to turn Wi-Fi off when you enable mobile hotspot as the purpose of using hotspot is to make your phone's mobile data available. Ainoa heikko puoli on kuluttajalaitteelle tyypillinen rampautettu hallinta; esim. ICM-paketteihin vastaamisen salliminen sekä SNMP-toiminto on mahdotonta ottaa käyttöön. Pitäisi siis käytännössä heittää laite siltaavaksi ja hoitaa NAT sekä palomuuraus ihan oikealla reitittimellä, jotta ICMP:n sekä SNMP:n saisi aktivoitua. Verkon rajalla on se huono puoli että mikäli ei saa yhteyttä 5G-ankkuritaajuudelle niin ei voi yhdistää 5G:lle. Ankkuri on 4G:llä mutta verkko pitää mainostaa 5G:tä. Itse en ole kokeillut tällä laitteella ulkoisia antenneja, kun yhteys 5G:lle on hyvä. Joissakin laitteissa ulkoinen antenni on vain matalalle taajuudelle, en tiedä tästä ZTE:stä.

I'm using it with a Taoglas wideband omni (700-6000MHz) and it certainly improves the signal / speed a lot.

Andy, are you using the router in Bridge mode? I was when I tested the external antenna option yesterday and it definitely didn't work for me.
