Everyone loves decorating their photos with funny masks and accessories, my 4 year old’s favourite feature is shaking her picture so it all gets jumbled up. It does seem quite small and I particularly noticed when my son was playing on a Jake the Pirates game how teeny the characters looked.

When Maggie came home from her first day of school, the LeapPad 3 was waiting for her and she was ecstatic. The game encouraged him to use problem-solving skills to help Doc treat toy patients and learn health lessons. The Leappad 3 comes with a mains adapter for charging but we don't use it - I tend to charge it via USB from my computer while I am synching it with the Leapfrog Connect software (so that I can upload new games, take a look at Lara's learning journey and have a sneaky peak at the photos she has taken! However if you don’t want your child to have access to the internet on the tablet, you can switch off access in the parental controls section of the LeapPad.The LeapPad3 created by LeapFrog is a high performance learning tablet designed for children between the ages of 3 and 9. We’ve been trying out the LeapFrog LeapPad 3 for kids and it’s an amazing introduction to tablets for children.

For us, it wasn’t that great a feature as none of my son’s friends have a LeapPad3 and his cousin has an older version, which doesn’t have the option.I have a leapPad academy and my son's father naught it for him for Christmas and set it up before he gave it to him. My girls love naming their pet, playing games to wash and feed him, decorating his home and giving him toys to play with. The Photo Fun app is very entertaining for Jake who spent a good half hour making pictures with funny masks and experimenting with the cool effects. We’ve really enjoyed testing the LeapPad 3, all three kids including my 7 year old enjoy it, and learn a lot from the games and apps.

Holly also likes to play with her sister and most enjoys the Petathlon games app which accompanies the Leappand activity watch that they both use; it is a great way to bring the two Leapfrog toys together. I love there that there are such a huge range of games, music and audio books available for children up to 12 years old. It has both a front and rear-mounted camera, an integrated soft-headed screen stylus (attached to the tablet so that you won't lose it) and it comes with a number of games and creativity apps installed by default. So he set up the parent account and the parental lock code on the device and refuses to give me the lock code.The fact that you can get an apps about everything from phonics to learning about trajectory is pretty amazing. As an educational tool it is excellent, it encourages skills set as listening, comprehension, creativity, maths and lots more.

On the Manage Content screen, expand the "Installed" menu, scroll down and locate some of the larger sized apps (App size is displayed beneath the app name).You complete various mini tasks to help other characters prepare for the surprise party they are throwing for Minnie.
