LE have made some really nice kit recently and whilst the Karrong lantern is cheaper, I do really like their take on the budget rechargeable camping lantern. If you’re looking for something that will offer great reading or cooking light at your campsite, it would be best to stick with an LED light. It is an easy choice for a large campsite; you just need to make sure you have a power supply for it.

The light strips can be connected up with multiple light strips using the 3 way splitter, dimmable using dimmer attachment or cables extended using the cable extensions. I wouldn’t use it as your only source of light for a family tent (we combined with the Luminoodle) it would be small enough and light enough for a smaller wilder camp though.
