In her Series 2 appearance, her hair is shown to be mostly blue with a few streaks of other colors such as yellow and green.

Amaya's name is a play on the phrase "end of the rainbow" as her first name means "the end" while her surname is a pun on rainbow. From the beginning, Ruby only saw Amaya as Bella's replacement and nothing else. Alongside Jade, she held a grudge against Amaya in spite of her trying to convince Ruby otherwise.
