About this deal

As you will have been told by your stylist in the consultation, caring for your hair properly in the first 72 hours is critical to ensure your treatment is effective. Cocochoco Professional Keratin PURE is an innovative product to regenerate damaged and chemically treated hair, giving it a straight, smooth, well-nourished and shiny look. Keratin contains only natural ingredients, which makes the therapy safe for hair and does not change its texture. Keratin is delivered from cacao tree, which makes it a nutrient and gives it a pleasant, chocolate smell. Its composition includes vitamins, collagen, silicon, clean keratin hydrolysate and polymers that protect your hair from the heat of straightening irons. The treatment can be applied on all types of hair, including coloured and chemically treated hair. The keratin strengthening process lasts from 1.5 to 3 hours, with keratin sealed into hair with a flat iron at 230°C. Results are immediate, giving your hair a straight, well-nourished, smooth and shiny look - simply beautiful!

At Cocochoco, we are asked a lot of questions about our treatments, products, and how your hair should be cared for after you have your Cocochoco treatment. In this post, we want to answer some of those questions! Yes! You can colour your hair 2 weeks before or 2 weeks after the treatment. For best results, we recommend that any bleach / lightening / highlighting is done on your hair hair 2 weeks before your Cocochoco treatment, as Cocochoco will help to showcase the brightness of your hair colour. Darker colours or dyes should be done on your hair 2 weeks after the Cocochoco treatment, as you may lose some of the richer tones through the heat of the straightening. Yes. In fact, the Cocochoco keratin treatments work to repair damage caused by chemical treatments. It is recommended to wait two weeks between any chemical treatments and to adjust iron temperature based on hair type, as outlined in the training. We recommend waiting 5 weeks before having the treatment re-done. But, most of our clients do not need to have it done for at least 12 weeks, as the results can last this long (and even longer!) if the treatment is properly maintained. Yes, you can safely colour your hair 2 weeks before or 2 weeks after the treatment. For better results, we recommend to bleach/highlight hair 2 weeks before the treatment, and colour/dye the hair 2 weeks after the treatment.Yes! In fact, the Keratin treatments work to repair the damage caused by chemical treatments. We recommend that you wait at least two weeks after having any chemical services before you do a Cocochoco treatment. The hair will become more manageable, easier to style, and resistant to humidity. It will feel noticeably softer and silkier, with added life & shine. Part the hair and apply the COCOCHOCO keratin section by section one inch from the root using a colour brush. It is highly recommended after a Keratin treatment that you maintain your hair and ensure the long lasting effect of our treatment by using:

The Cocochoco line of keratin straightening products consists of advanced, in-salon treatments that restore and restructure the hair by infusing a special blend of hydrolyzed keratin deep into the cuticle. The hydrolyzed keratin is bonded to the cuticle with heat from a flat iron to relax the hair’s subcuticular layer, resulting in renewed smoothness and shine . Time should be determined on an individual basis. Cocochoco recommends an initial consultation with each client to determine hair length, type and texture. As a general rule, please allow a two to three-hour window for the keratin treatment. The best way to maintain your treatment results is with a couple of simple lifestyle adjustments. Minimise the hair’s exposure to chlorine and other harsh chemicals, as well as sodium/sulphate found in the ocean, salt water pools, water softener and human perspiration. It is also recommended to use the Cocochoco Ceramide collection of products. We recommend that the hair be cut after the treatment, as the hair will have a smoother texture and will lie differently. If you have damaged, unruly or dyed hair, Cocochoco Gold Keratin offers several benefits, including:Next, you should not bend, crease or tie up your hair for the first 72 hours. Again, the treatment is still settling, so your hair needs to be kept as straight as possible for this time. Try not to push your hair behind your ears at this time either, as this can result in the hair maintaining this bend. Is the reapplication of the Keratin Straightening Treatment done on the entire head or just on the new growth? Firstly, you must not get your hair wet or damp in the first 72 hours. This is because the Keratin treatment is still settling into your hair, and can easily be disrupted by too much moisture. If your hair does get wet in the first 72 hours, we recommend immediately blow drying it, and straightening your hair again on a medium heat. The manufacturer of the product does not advise that this treatment be done on pregnant or breastfeeding women. This advice applies to both the client and the stylist.
