With Variable Illumination, you’re no longer limited to a choice of just a few colours. You can actually browse through a range of more than 150,000 colours to select exactly the tone to match or complement your dashboard illumination. Many preset colours are also available. A 4 x 50W power amplifier is integrated in the product, enabling superior sound and sufficient headroom for dynamic sound reproduction. We recommend the separately available active DAB screen antenna KAE-242DA for use with this product. Optional Remote Control Parametric equalizers are multi-band variable equalisers which allow users to control the three primary parameters: amplitude, centre frequency and bandwidth. If you have an Android based phone or tablet, you can connect it via USB (cable not included) to your Alpine head unit to enjoy the audio content through your car speakers. You can select songs on your phone/ tablet or using the rotary encoder of your head unit. This feature is available for all Alpine head units with Android Open Accessory 2.0 (including UTE-204DAB).
