I immediately fell in love with Ellie and Jack, and from the first page, a smile started dancing on my face.One of the better holiday romances that I’ve read in a long time and a book that will easily make it onto my best of 2022 list. As Dev fights to get Charlie to connect with the contestants on a whirlwind, worldwide tour, they begin to open up to each other, and Charlie realizes he has better chemistry with Dev than with any of his female co-stars. Now Ellie is trapped in a huge rich person’s idea of a cabin in the snowy woods with her fake boyfriend and the woman who broke her heart! I was frequently annoyed by Ellie’s self-pity and stagnation, and (spoilers, I guess) the most satisfying moment for me was when Jack (I think? But I wish the book hadn't decided that Ellie's issues needed to be addressed while handwaving Jack's, because that left a fundamental imbalance for me.

And in a delightfully expected way, you know that this awesome sister Andrew keeps talking about is, of course, Jack.
