There they build gingerbread houses and discover that, while Hitch assures them his grandma is very strict about her holiday traditions, it's actually him who's tied to his Wishday nostalgia. Afterward they depart to Bridlewood for Izzy's unicorn tradition of placing her hoofmade ordainment on the Wishing Tree, a stop made even longer by Izzy stopping to tell every pony she sees "frosty shivers", the traditional unicorn Wishday greeting.

Pipp stumbles upon a strange plant that can instantly shine a pony's hoof for a luxury, all-natural hooficure treatment. The only problem? It stinks! Bahia Watson as Misty Brightdawn, a timid unicorn who was taken in by Opaline as a filly and serves as her assistant in return for a promised cutie mark. In Chapter 5, she is revealed to be Alphabittle's long lost daughter.With Pipp and Zipp focused on Royal Portrait Day, Opaline sends Misty on an evil errand to lure the two sisters into a trap. A new chapter begins for these bright young ponies as they make their mark in magical Equestria, working together to keep their world in perfect harmony.
