Megatron came with his personal Mini-Con, Leader-1. His right-side forward hull protrusion has a flip-out "launch pad" for Mini-Cons, with a sliding Powerlinx post. The left-side forward hull has three spring-loaded, flip-out panels that have Powerlinx hardpoints that reveal themselves at the push of a button. The rear right-side hull has a flip-out ramp for Mini-Cons, and a slide-out capture claw to ensnare them, while the rear left-side hull has a holding compartment for Mini-Cons, although most are too large to fit inside.

It's taller than Star Saber, Super Ginrai, Star Convoy, Dai Atlas, Optimal Optimus, PotP Rodimus, PotP Optimus, TR PMOP and CW Ultra Magnus but not as tall as Victory Saber and God Ginrai. I'd want it to have been slightly smaller to match those other Autobot leaders. Or just be as tall as God Ginrai and Victory Saber. Just not in between. I even have enough kits on my Siege GUOP to make him as tall as the rest as well. So that makes it worse when Armada Optimus being taller than Cybertron Optimus. Much to my surprise, Hasbro decided to make this an entirely new sculpt (early concepts would have made Override a retool of Studio Series Hot Rod). At a whopping 22-inches tall, Metroplex has 52 steps to transform from robot to excavator. In robot mode, it includes “a flip-down welding mask,” because safety is absolutely paramount for even gigantic transforming sentient robots.
In TakaraTomy's take on the line, everyone is established as visiting the " Legacy World" (レガシーワールド), alternatively "Legacy Spacetime" (レガシー時空) or "Transformers Legacy World" (トランスフォーマーレガシーワールド) in full. Their origin universe descriptions are largely similar, to the point of using Hasbro's names for the lines rather than their own (in line with their use of Hasbro's names for the characters), but there are still some notable differences and inconsistent terminology: The Autobots pressed on down into the lowest level of Gigantion, where they found Bud giving an impromptu leadership seminar to Scourge and the Mini-Cons. Some of the Autobots beat up Scourge a bit, and then they all went on their way. Scourge Energon Megatron transforms into an off-white gray and blue Cybertronic jet, with a Hyper Mode activated by pulling on the translucent segments of his wings, unfolding their various panels to reveal more weapons. In robot mode, Megatron greatly resembles Generation 1 Galvatron, with a pair of large pivoting shoulder cannons. While he features decent articulation, especially compared to the Armada Ultra toy, he has limited posability due to a top-heavy design and spring-loaded auto-transforming hands and feet. I do find that I used to have more trouble with making choices, in part when my financial situation was less ideal, but even then it was also more about defining what I really wanted over what I didn't.
