About this deal

Don’t forget Kenetrek designs their gear for the toughest and harshest of elements, that’s 12-months of being beaten around and if the boots don’t hold up due to defective materials or poor workmanship, then they can still be replaced or repaired within reason. Crispi Boots You will be charged import VAT by your government when the shipment arrives at your customs point. This VAT will be charged at your local rate.

Featuring the special Boa® Closure System to enable ease of use and comfort. The closure requires only the twisting of the dial to tighten the boot to your individual requirements with not tying of laces required. A customised fit without pressure points is achieved thanks to the BOA millimetric closing system which uniformly distributes pressure. INITIAL IMPRESSION: 10 out of 10- I’ve laced up enough boots that upon first inspection I could tell these we’re quality boots. The stitching was clean and the construction looked good and not over-engineered for ascetics like many of today’s trendy brands. OVERALL REVIEW: 9.5 of 10- A wise man once told me: “When you find what you’re looking for, stop looking.” After one complete fall season I have to say the Crispi Guide is an exceptional boot, but—for my feet and the type of hunting I do—the Crispi Hunter is exactly the boot I’ve been looking for. The toughest hunts are often the most satisfying… Stability, comfort and impact protection are provided thanks to the midsole with waving module insert and tred with Vibram Megagrip compound.

About Crispi

Having a pair of Kenetrek boots myself, I can say firsthand they are very comfortable and fit the shape of my feet better than I could have imagined. Select the item(s) you want to return and choose between exchanges or a return. You also have the option to return for store credit via a gift card. Again, this one is a tie and for the same reasons as mentioned in the stability section. Whether you choose Crispi or Kenetrek, walk in confidence, they both hold tight and firm to the ground regardless of the terrain. Comfort Removable Footbed: Cambrelle® + Active Carbons + Felt. Form fitting shape for less strain on the foot arch, heel and metatarus. Special CRISPI® No-Slip Design and Active Carbons Filter with antibacterial properties Cons: I found most models rather unforgiving/a bit too stiff unless I was in very steep terrain. I always got blisters with them. It seemed like by the time I had them broke-in they were worn-out. My last experience with Meindl boots was the Perkekt Hunter, which had the Cabela’s name on them. They weren’t as stiff as the Meindl’s of old, nor did they have the quality. While they fit my feet well, the leaked like sieves after only a month’s use. Cabela’s did accept a return. If you’re looking to try Meindl, I would get the original German models. If they fit your feet properly, the original Meindl brand is very good. Distant volcanoes on the Alaska Peninsula.

The Kanada Evo GTX boot from CRISPI® is an excellent value, high quality Italian leather boot that is waterproof and insulated using premium materials. Crispi boots were born in Veneto, Italy in the mid-70s and made its way through most of Europe before officially being introduced into the States in 2016. It is obvious that the Kenetrek Mountain Extreme 400 and Crispi Hunter GTX had stability at the core when designing these boots. The Mountain Extreme is 10” tall up the leg and the Hunter GTX runs at height of 12”. AB10-37, AB36-38, AB55-56, FK17-21, IV1-39, IV52-54, IV63, KW1-14, PA21-40, PH19-26, PH30-41, PH49-50, HS1-9, IV40-51, IV55-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA41-49, PA60-78, PH42-44, ZE1-3. The lateral containing supports provide torsional controla and ensure an optimum glide of the foot. The Crispi Attiva Mid GTX boots are ideal for the light and fast hunter who wants to stay nimble, mobile and agile while keeping feet dry and protected during early season hunts. We've taken the benefits of the Attiva low and added additional stability, Gortex and a little extra Italian know-how to create the Attiva Mid. The ultra soft comfort of a leather/synthetic upper, Elastoflex midsole and Vibram sole are a combination that makes for a unique mix of fast and light with durability not often found in hunting specific boots within this category. For the past 21 years, my feet have been laced up in hunting boots more than any other type of footwear. I’ve spent 90-180 days each year guiding hunters in Alaska, and guiding across the West for elk, mule deer, and bighorn sheep. I’ve also been fortunate to do a little hunting here and there of my own. While hunting gear has drastically improved since I started, finding the ultimate hunting boot has eluded me. Billy Molls holds a trophy Brooks Range ram that took 50 miles for his hunter to collect. Removable Footbed: Cambrelle® + Active Carbons + Felt. Form fitting shape for less strain on the foot arch, heel and metatarus. Special CRISPI® No-Slip Design and Active Carbons Filter with antibacterial properties.

For anyone who’s interested, I’ll share my experiences with some of the other boots I’ve tried over the years. Of course, what’s good for the goose may not be good for the gander. Everyone’s feet and preferences are different. I’m merely listing my experience, so take it as such. While we strive to dispatch products in perfect condition, if you receive a damaged item, please notify us at [email protected] within 24 hours. There tends to be 3 options for outdoor workers when they are choosing the best footwear for the type of work and conditions; 1) Wellington boots, 2) Walking Boots and 3) Walking Boots with Gaiters fitted. Each of the 3 options have positives and negatives. Wellingtons offer great waterproof properties, but very limited ankle support and comfort. Walking boots offer good support and comfort but limited waterproof abilities compared with wellingtons. The option to fit a gaiter to walking boots is an improvement but can be time consuming, fiddly and ultimately, water can stilll creep up from underneath.

DURABILITY: 10- Over the course of 86 days, I took these boots from saltwater to mountain peaks. I have to say they look great inside and out. Not single stitch is out of place, the soles have lots of life left in them, the rand is completely intact, and the leather looks great. I typically get two seasons out of my boots if I rotate them. The ultimate durability test will come at the end of next fall, but at this point I have every confidence they will perform well. Crossing creeks and rivers is a constant when mountain hunting. Looking at two of their premier products, the Kenetrek Mountain Extreme 400 and the Crispi Hunter GTX. Each boot will be judged against five main factors that each hunter will look for in a boot: Removable Footbed: CRISPI® Air Mesh + Felt Active Carbons. Outstanding breathability and anti perspiration - anti odour action. The CRISPI® 3D construction moves moisture away leaving the foot dry. Crispi developed their ABSS (Ankle Bone Support System) feature which is designed specifically for comfort and protection of the entire ankle area. It is a combination of materials that contour to the shape of the hunter’s ankle. Removable footbed: CRISPI® Air Mesh + Felt Active Carbons. Outstanding breathability and anti perspiration - anti-odour action. The CRISPI® 3D construction moves moisture away leaving the foot dry
