Attendees were here from many different European countries, as well as other areas of the Middle East.We finished with a show and tell as Kaffe and Brandon went around to each quilt and evaluated the final results. The book will inspire you to make quilts that don't pretend to be antiques, but will instead enliven a room in a distinctly modern way. I like to focus my traveling lens on history, art, architecture, nature, cruising, and soft adventures with a touch of luxury. We started by laying out our intended fabric choices and Kaffe went around and suggested improvements. What I really like is that Fasset's choice of colors makes wonderful use of simple patchwork designs such that the designs themselves become only a background for new, shimmering combinations of fabrics.
