The remainder of this book has a vast number of overt and explicit sexual references that are scattered throughout.

esse livro traz uma mistura de poesias, poemas e parágrafos que são geralmente tirados de diários ou mensagens escritos no dia a dia, e não se infelizmente ou felizmente, esse textos que foram escritos para o dia a dia são os que eu mais me interessei. The bits about anxiety and overthinking if someone feels the same as you were nice, and the last chapter was cute as they wrote more about everything working out and being in love and accepting their queer identity. in the moments you spent curled up in a ball on the floor of the shower, waiting for your lungs to catch up with your need for oxygen. I love the way that this book takes you from being friends with someone to slowly falling in love and being happy in your relationship. May have been 3-4 stars if you chopped the first half/two thirds of this book off and put some effort into the rest, it has promise but wasn’t ready for publishing and feels thrown together.It's always hard to comment on the works of women and more so lesbian being a straight man, however, I connect on the poetic level and I appreciate the author's journey through words. Do not read the book if you lack the maturity to deal with the sexual nature of the book (please note that I did not mention an age; if you are an adult and find the sexual content of the book embarrassing, you need to look at yourself, not at the book).

i got this book because tiktok would not stop giving me videos about the poems and what it is about. The poetry tells the story of a person who falls in love with their best friend while simultaneously discovering who they really are. After the first ten the motives started repeating themselves, I would have loved the author to have sat with their emotions for longer and actually make interesting observations. the hardest part of all of this is knowing that you may also be suffering: feeling the same pain that I feel.
