Using an active prebiotic to smooth and revitalise the skin, the formula boasts Superfoods like Ginger, Matcha Tea and Goji Berry, that work in harmony to replenish essential nutrients for a healthy and revitalised complexion. Cucumber has cooling, refreshing and soothing skincare properties, and Goji Berry Extract is rich in vitamins and essential fatty acids to help protect the skin’s lipid barrier.

In fact, many of the Elemis skincare products contain more fragrance than key ingredients! One example is the Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel. If you look at the ingredient list, Fragrance (Parfum) comes before papain (the enzyme derived from papaya extract) and pineapple extract. The inclusion of antioxidants like Matcha Tea, along with omega-rich extracts like Broccoli and Gogi Berry, truly makes this cream stand out. However, remember that everyone’s skin is different. Always do a patch test before trying new products, and consult a dermatologist if you have any concerns. The brand claims that grape seed extract and nordic bilberry extract are “key” ingredients. However, these ingredients are used in very low concentrations (less than 1%) Key ingredients include sweet almond oil, caprylic/capric triglyceride, elderberry seed oil, oat kernel oil, wheat germ oil, and shea butter In our opinion, Elemis products aren’t worth the money, simply because there are other skincare brands that offer similar products that are less expensive.Using the Superfood Day Cream didn’t just change the texture of my skin, it changed my entire perspective on skincare. It turned my morning routine from a tedious obligation into an eagerly awaited indulgence. Now that’s a transformation I can get behind!
