About this deal

In terms of mouse movement on top, the pad is much faster than my QCK+ but has more control because of the high amount of friction it gives off. The backing for me only works really well when the static is there or when there is moisture after cleaning. Mine is the soft version and it does the same thing, so it's probably common to all their 'fancy' backing.

It's an expensive pad but some might find it subjectively worth it because this pad in terms of sensor tracking was superb! We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others.I swiped around like I was trying to start a fire for about a minute and I didn't feel anything static-y afterwards. This becomes pronounced when you hear the 'peeling' back sound when you remove the pad, yet no sticky residue. Then stick it on the wall (yes, it does stick to the wall and ceiling) wipe it with cloth and let it dry. Otsu is soft to the touch, though not as soft as one thinks of a soft pad in 'feel' you get from it. Stable mouse movement with the same fast initial movement and parallel movement sensation as Hayate. I find it pleasing how easy it adheres to the surface due to the suction from the bottom pad once pressed lightly which takes hold of the desk top. It seems to stick really firmly to the desk and needs to be peeled off after a longer play session, if that's what you mean. Starting with bottom of pad upon turning it over its made of high quality, dense soft rubber that's evenly cut and is consistent across the entire foundation. You have to take the mouse pad off the table after you swipe a lot to notice what I am talking about.

Laying my wrist and palm on it for the first time it feels more like a hard pad with slight abrasive feel yet soft when pushing down with finger. As for the dust thing, I don't remember exactly what the old problem was -- dust would get trapped in the fabric weave, right? Over the years, they have received a strong rating among regular users and enthusiasts in the gaming community. If you have a non black mouse pad you can see the PTFE stains where you move your mouse often, similar to tire marks on a racetrack.Artisan always strives for perfection, they are never satisfied and always challenge themselves and the industry by being innovative and not compromising on quality. It was obvious they take sending you a flat mouse pad very seriously and do not like to bend their pads. I wasn't 100% sure that it wasn't just the tiny pores in the rubber sticking to the desk because it only happens when I mouse over the pad with some pressure, so I got in nice and close and yes it's static alright.
