This is one of those proposed cleaning solutions. A cleaning machine that arrives with its own cleaning liquid. It’s been around for some time, I realise but I’ve never properly reviewed it. I thought it was about time.

I suspect a longer immersion time helps with the cleaning process. With the Knosti, the disc stays immersed in the fluid for as long as you like (while you read a book, listen to a record or get on with something else) and you can also rotate it as often as you like, giving it a very thorough washing. It's significant that when you do this you clean both sides simultaneously so even if other things were equal, five minutes spent cleaning an LP on a Knosti would be worth 10 minutes on an RCM. Also, from what I've seen so far, the brushes on the Knosti seem to be highly effective. I resisted the urge to write something about the finger next to the little one being the third (except in Norfolk). I would say that vinyl cleaning is divided into three main categories: manual cleaning, cleaning via a RCM (Record Cleaning Machine) based upon a vacuum system and the high-end option, the ultrasonic cleaner. T’is indeed a great bit of kit, but don’t forget to rinse! Need to put every vinly through the machine again with some clean water or you’ll leave some residue in t’grooves. Just one last update. These machines need a rest after two hrs of continuous work which is timed by on and off not say 20x3min and forgetting it was on for however long in between records. Not big deal but I needed to reset it by unplugging the wall unit leaving it a few hrs then it was good to go afpgain,

Firstly, there are two outer axle ends that fit into the bath runnels that allow you to rotate the record while on the bath to facilitate cleaning. Secondly, with the clamp in place, note how the clamp itself covers the record label, keeping it dry during the cleaning process. Simple yet effective.
