About this deal

Don’t be too proud of this technological terror you’ve constructed. The ability to destroy a planet is insignificant next to the power of the Force.”

The cape will be drawn coming from the shoulders and opening flying towards the sides of the character. The fact that the cape will be drawn this way will help us give dynamis to the character, even if the character is an static position. Episode IV: A New Hope™ sees the fall of Obi-Wan Kenobi™, one of the few Jedi left in the galaxy. The Jedi are focused on truth and honesty, and have been constant defenders against the great evil of the Empire. When Kenobi died, so did a large portion of hope held by the Rebellion. In A New Hope, Darth Vader speaks down about the incredible technology of the battle station, which is rather counterintuitive. It is the technology of his suit that keeps him alive. It is the technology of his battle stations and of the Empire that have allowed them to rise to power. Really, it is technology that gives Darth Vader the ability to be Darth Vader. And yet, it seems that he distrusts it. Here, Darth Vader warns that it is only through manipulation of the Force that any of them have any real power. The lightsaber will be drawn in the left hand, with the pommel ending in a laser blade. • STEP 7 – DRAWING THE FINAL LINEART Step 8: Darken in Darth Vader's helmet by drawing a curved line that starts where the construction lines cross in between his eyes. Draw this line so it follows the small L shape outside his head, and end just below the L shape. Draw the same thing on the other side. Now darken in the middle portion of his helmet (the lines extending up from his nose). Start above the curved line you drew earlier in this step and follow the outside L shape. Connect the two lines at the end with a slightly tilted horizontal line. Finish drawing Darth Vader's helmet by darkening the top part of the main oval. The mask also has a symbolic significance. It represents Vader’s transformation from Anakin Skywalker, a Jedi Knight, to a Sith Lord. The mask covers Vader’s face and hides his emotions, making him appear more menacing and intimidating. It also serves as a reminder of the pain and suffering that Vader endured, both physically and emotionally, in his journey to the dark side. Step 9: Tighten Darth Vader's nose shape by drawing another arc on top of the original arc you drew at the bottom of his nose. Connect the bottom half of his nose with the top half using slightly tilted vertical lines. Darken the remaining lines on the top half of this Star Wars character's nose. What makes this quote so important is that Darth Vader is more than just a warlord. He’s more than just a leader and a fighter. He’s a student under Emperor Palpatine™, and a devout member of an ancient tradition. Every part of his life revolves around his faith and his goal to complete the will of his master. He is literally willing to kill just because someone else doubts his faith. This might be the most revealing quote in all of Star Wars.

We have made the tutorial pretty easy to follow, with a step by step guide for each of the 2 tutorials. We are going to start with a dummy which will serve as a base for our final drawing. So let’s get started on our first tutorial. FIRST TUTORIAL: HOW TO DRAW DARTH VADER´S HELMET

Search through 99765 colorings, dot to dots, tutorials and silhouettes

Also, we will paint some hard reflections on the helmet. We will use the same light grey color, but we will paint these reflections with hard edges. • STEP 11 – PAINTING THE SHADOWS A New Hope shows Darth Vader in all his power and glory, and while this quote could be considered a continuation of number 3 on this list, there’s something particularly striking about this moment. This is about faith. It’s easy to forget that the mythical Force is rooted in religious belief and studies. Grand Moff Tarkin™ believes Vader to be one of the very last followers of the religion. From an outsider’s perspective, it might seem obvious that this terrifying Sith Lord in full gear would easily defeat an old man in simple robes. However, Obi-Wan is able to become a force ghost, something a Sith Lord would never be able to do. And so, even though Darth Vader might be a master of the force, this quote could indicate that Vader is still unsure of himself. Once the elements of the helmet and mask are fully drawn you should draw your final lineart on top of your rough sketch( drawn in red in this tutorial). The purpose of doing so is to clean your drawing. • STEP 9 – PAINTING THE BASE COLORS

Darth Vader’s mask is one of the most iconic and recognizable masks in popular culture. It has a rich history and has been an integral part of the Star Wars franchise since its introduction in the original trilogy. This section will explore the historical significance, design, and features of Darth Vader’s mask. Next, we will draw the legs of our character. The thighs will be represented as massive tubes which become thinner towards the knees. The calves and shins will be represented by convex curve lines connecting the knees to the ankles. The knees will be represented by ellipses and I recommend drawing the feet with simple geometric shapes. • STEP 3 – DRAWING THE ARMS Just like the thighs, the forearms will be drawn as tubes which become narrower as they approach the wrist, where they are connected to the hand. Ensure that the wrists are aligned with the crotch area and use a rectangular shape to denote the hand which is folded in a fist. In this dark side quote, Darth Vader insists he must obey his master. Deep under the menacing voice, Darth Vader has a tinge of fear in his words. He has no say in the matter any longer. He must obey his master. For it is within the power of the dark side to see across the universe, even seeing through the eyes of another person. Darth Vader’s internal struggle between the light side and the dark is truly shown in this quote. In Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi™, Luke Skywalker™ truly becomes a Jedi™, but one must wonder whether Darth Vader too, for a moment, remembers the call of the light side.Next, we will paint what we have drawn thus far. Paint the whole mask and helmet with a dark-grey blue color. This will serve you as the base color of your helmet. • STEP 10 – PAINTING THE LIGHT We will now draw the nose details and the respirator grill. The nose will be ended in a flat and curved shaped triangle. The respirator will be a big triangle with two circles, each one located on the two lower vertices of the triangle and the nose´s triangle being the upper vertice. Inside the triangle´s respirator, you should draw 5 vertical openings with a criss-cross pattern inside them, simulating the filter grill of the respirator. • STEP 8 – DRAWING THE FINAL LINEART

Once we have gotten the outline of our Darth Vader character, for the fun part, we will now dress him up like the Sith Villain he is. Using the dummy we created on the previous steps, we will draw the helmet, chest plate, shoulder plates, belt, gloves, and high boots. • STEP 6 – PAINTING THE CAPE AND LIGHTSABER When it comes to drawing the final line art, I recommend keeping it simple. Excessive detailing may end up complicating the final image. Draw your final line art on top of the dummy you created on the previous steps. • STEP 8 – DRAWING THE SHADOWS After the Grand Inquisitor's death, Vader became a more active participant in the hunt for the Lothal rebels and their Jedi. He set a trap for the freedom fighters and easily bested Kanan Jarrus and Ezra Bridger in lightsaber combat, though the Jedi survived the encounter. Vader also single-handedly wiped out most of Phoenix Squadron, but it was during this battle that he made a startling discovery: Ahsoka Tano lived. Even watching it now, even knowing the twist, this famous Darth Vader line sends shivers down your spine. How could a father fight with his own son like this? How could he endanger him, or subject him to the hell that the Emperor wants for him? How could he cut off his own son’s hand? It might be the most popular line in the whole trilogy, and one of the most misquoted lines of all time, but it also might not be Darth Vader ‘s most interesting quote. However, since he is trying to turn Luke to the dark side, he cleverly plays on these insecurities and appeals to his strengths. Yes, he has let go of his fear. That is the first step to the dark side. Now, Vader insists, that there is more. That Luke must go further. That he must become so livid that his anger alone will sustain him.Shadows help to bring a sense of three-dimensionality to images by creating the illusion of volume and depth. When it comes to this step, I would recommend painting over the area using a darker tone of the local color. For example, as you can see in the image, I shaded around the jaws, eyes, and interior of the helmet using a darker tone of the grey dark blue which is the base color. • STEP 12 – PAINTING THE FINAL TOUCHES If you are interested in more free step by step drawing tutorials similar to this one, feel free to visit the Drawing Tutorials section. SECOND TUTORIAL: HOW TO DRAW DARTH VADER FULL BODY Draw a vertical line through the middle of the head. This will be the central vertical line of the figure.
