There is also an option to buy a matching toaster and coffee maker but we left those out for now. Made from quiet material– Material is a big deal for me. I hate scratchy and cold metal on a kettle, so I look for smooth material like glass. This can also depend on the style you’re looking for. With a capacity of 1.7 litres like most on our list, there’ll be plenty of water for a round of teas and coffee for the family and visitors. Boasting rapid boil, simply fill the kettle enough for one cup and it’ll be ready in 45 seconds… not too shabby! Overall, if you’re looking for a slightly different look we can’t recommend this enough. It fairs well against other Russell Hobbs kettles, and offers a more traditional look. Quiet boil and rapid boil are great features, and one’s a couldn’t live without now that we’ve tried them! The kettle is 15 cm across the base, so it’s not a slim kettle by any means. There’s also been a few complaints of rust starting to build up so keep that in mind as well.

Concealed Heating Element - The heating element is concealed in the base to allow for easy cleaning. From a design point of view, the kettle is certainly well constructed. The style is more subjective of course, but in my view the 23211 Luna Kettle looks smart. It's a fairly compact modern style kettle which is sleek in its appearance and would go well together with other modern appliances. It would certainly be suitable style wise for most kitchens.

Overall, the 72815 is a fantastic choice (although pricey) for those looking for a sleek and long lasting model.
