About this deal

Out of the bag, what initially surprised me was the loo of the racquet. At this time I hadn’t read the specifications, but something was different. Then I read the text on the shaft “light weight/headlight balance/long size. Mmm. Nanocell NEO Graphite Material:** Embrace resilience and flexibility with Nanocell NEO, an innovative graphite material that adds durability without compromising on flexibility. This material provides a solid foundation for your game, ensuring you stay in control while delivering powerful shots. The Nanospeed series are head-light racquets developed to increase racquet head speed, which can increase power and yet still be lightning fast around the net and in defensive situations. Do they live up to the hype? I wondered what difference it would make with this “long” racquet so was looking forward to testing. Power shots are crisp, once you make the adjustment to the flexible shaft which takes very little time. There is a fraction of “delay” as you would expect when moving the racquet at speed as the head lags behind a little but you’re more than compensated when the power comes through. Built-in T-Joint:** The built-in T-Joint wors to reinforce frame-shaft strength, providing you with increased control over your shots. Feel the confidence and stability as you execute every move.

I recently reviewed the top of the range Nanospeed 9900 so whilst I’m relatively unfamiliar with this series, I can at least compare to the very best.Compared to 9900 this isn’t particularly head light. It’s marginally lighter than Yonex Armortec range so a little bit faster around the net and in defence. Precision matters, and the Nanoflare 800 Pro's stringing pattern is meticulously crafted to maximize that trampoline effect we all crave. The inclusion of an extra cross string and the narrowed interval means drives are not just powered but empowered. Prepare to revolutionize your badminton experience with the cutting-edge technology and performance-enhancing features of the Yonex Nanoflare 1000 Game. This exceptional racquet is meticulously crafted to empower your playstyle and propel you toward global success.

Out comes the Nanospeed 9900 (which I’m currently testing again) and wow, this 100 racquet is marginally longer. Butt to butt, the handle is slightly shorter by around 1.5cm, the ferrule is longer by around 2cm and the shaft is longer by around 1cm.The aerodynamic frame works tirelessly to reduce air resistance, minimise frame warping, and increase repulsion. The result? A more consistent play experience and power that feels effortless. Around the net the racquet will not disappoint. It’s very similar to many of the Armortecs I’ve tested as there is still some weight in the head. Unleash your potential on the badminton court with the Yonex Nanoflare 1000 Game. Experience the perfect blend of power, stability, and precision as you strive for victory. Elevate your game and join the ranks of global champions with this remarkable badminton racquet – the Nanoflare 1000 Game. Lighter and more nimble, the 4U is perfect for players who thrive at the front court, weaving speed and manoeuvrability into every play.

For those who play at a higher level, the 3U option is your ally. It's heavier, sure, but this weight, when wielded with skill, can deliver shots that pierce through the competition.
