About this deal

With an easy-to-use dial interface, the Honeywell T6360 allows users to adjust the temperature according to their preference. It also has a variable temperature control range from 10 to 30 degrees Celsius, and a switchable voltage operation between 220 and 240 volts, making it compatible with most types of central heating systems. I have looked at how to connect the wireless receiver to the boiler and my first issue is that the instructions advise that there should be a bridge between terminals 1 & 2 - There are actually two sperate wires in these terminals which I understand to be from my thermostat supply in terminal 1 and switch in terminal 2. The thermostat comes with a range of customizable settings, allowing users to program heating and cooling schedules to suit their needs. This helps to maximize comfort and energy efficiency, as the thermostat can be set to automatically adjust temperatures based on specific time periods throughout the day. NatWest, RBS and Ulster Bank to close at least 172 branches in 2023/24 – here's the full list, plus alternatives With its compact and unobtrusive design, the Honeywell T6360 thermostat blends seamlessly into any room decor. It is built to last, with quality materials ensuring durability and reliability over time.

However, it's unusual that there's a wire connected to terminal 4. This terminal is only made live when there is no demand for heating, so it could mean: Many people don't have the need of a high tech fancy home thermostat. For homes with simple HVAC systems installed, a simple thermostat will do, and preferably one that is both accurate and highly reliable. For such people, the Honeywell T6360B1028 Room Thermostat is a perfect fit. This simple home thermostat does not rely on having a fancy touchscreen display to do the job, which can sometimes add unnecessary complexity to a device. Instead, you can simply set the desired temperature with the turn of a dial, and the thermostat will utilise its built-in Dual Diaphram sensing element to ensure that your room is as close to the desired temperature as possible. If you see wires connected to terminals labeled G1 G2 G3, you need a thermostat capable of controlling multiple fan speeds; none of our retail thermostats are compatible with this system type. G is compatible, but not G1, G2, or G3. Versions with switches for positive-off selection, or summer/ winter (heat/cool) changeover operation Referring to your photo, remove and label each wire. If a terminal has multiple designations like W and O/B, it will be labeled as W and O/B and not just one or the other.Currently , I have taken the dial off and just turning the metal knob with my fingers (ie. rubber gloves on just in case ). The thermostat works okay so a shame to just dump it. The Chancellor Jeremy Hunt has today (Wednesday 22 November) announced a range of tax, benefits and savings measures. We round up the key announcements and what they mean for you. NatWest, Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) and Ulster Bank, which are all part of the NatWest Group, will now shut at least 172 of their bank branches in 2023 and 2024. There is no standard for which color wire controls each function. When wiring, each wire should be identified by what terminal(s) it connects to — never by color. If you don’t know to which terminal each wire connects, it may be necessary to go to the HVAC system and look at the designations on the control board. Consult your owners/install guide for wiring examples and systems compatible with your thermostat*.

Many smart thermostats also have some advanced automation abilities that many users aren't aware of, though. For instance, the ability to program your thermostat to only work at specific times is an extremely important feature, as not only does it give you the convenience of not having to manually set the conditions how we want, but it can also help save you a bundle on energy costs by not working during the times where it's not needed. Here we will give you some tips to get the most out of the programming feature of your new smart thermostat so you can partake in the tremendous value that it offers. Programming Your Thermostat lt;p>The Honeywell T6360 thermostat is designed to provide automatic ON/OFF control for gas valves circulation pumps relays and zone valves in all heating cooling or heating/cooling installations where single or changeover switching up to 10 A (resistive load) or 3 A (inductive load) is required. In addition, a 16 A (resistive load) variant is available for direct switching of high current carrying loads.
The included features of a home thermostat may be just as important as any other consideration, depending on what you want in your thermostat. While some thermostats are very simple devices with few to no options outside of direct temperature control, other higher end models tend to include a ton of features that add to the thermostat's usefulness, including features such as remote control and the ability to program it to operate at specific times. For those who want a fully automated experience, getting a programmable model would be ideal, while for others, a simple model will be sufficient. The Honeywell T6360 Room Thermostat can be used to directly switch a circulating pump or boiler, or to operate spring return and motor open/motor close zone valves. The Honeywell T6360 Room Stat can switch electrical heating loads up to 10A, and the it can also be used for cooling applications. The higher price range either uses algorithms to work out when to switch off, or uses linked TRV heads, former method used by Nest for example and latter method used by Hive for example. However as to if these high end systems actually save enough energy to be worth fitting is in question, the connection to ebus is better but Worcester Bosch are like Apple computers, they don't allow use of third party controls. So with Worcester Bosch no real option have to use their own special thermostat or control by return water temperature, and Hive it seems is ideally suited for Worcester Bosch in the way the wall thermostat links to TRV heads.I bought the starter kit thinking the thermstat could be wired in to replace my Honeywell.... The fact it's wireless thermostat wasn't a big enough clue for me. Your new thermostat may not be directly compatible if you see terminals labeled A B C, or 1 2 3, as your system requires a communicating thermostat. lt;li>Versions with switches for positive-off selection, or summer/ winter (heat/cool) changeover operation
lt;li>Attractive modern styling makes this thermostat ideal for locating in the living space
The TRV head however has a problem, it can't turn the boiler off, so it would cycle on/off all summer unless either manually turned off or you have an on/off wall thermostat, so in winter wall thermostat does nothing it is on all the time, but on a warm day it switches off stopping the boiler from switching on/off (cycling) all the time, and the large droop between on and off temperatures is good.
