About this deal

That is because the Ender 3 v2's display has it's own firmware and needs to be in sync with the printer firmware. Keep turning the knob until a small amount of filament is extruded from the hot top of the nozzle onto the plate. It is hard-wearing, versatile, reliable, easy to operate, and, perhaps most important, incredibly cheap. The Ender 3 was noted to leave fine filament dust scattered across the part and baseplate which required extra care to prevent or remove.

Make sure it’s facing the right way to eliminate awkward bending as the printer draws the PLA into the print nozzle. It has many of the same features as the standard Ender 3, with an identical build volume and build plate, print speed, and filament capacity. A lot of people get this wrong and wonder why their firmware seems to build for the wrong printer and why they don't see the right environments showing up. If the object you're trying to print pulls off the bed, or if it adheres better on one side of the platform than the other, it's still out of alignment, and so you'll have to tweak it again.

In retrospect, I suspect the problem wasn't with the filament, but that the nozzle was set a little too close to the print bed, touching it in places so that filament wouldn't come out and causing the clog. The front of the base also has a built-in tool drawer to hold the wrenches, cleaning needle, and Allen keys that come with the printer. Some materials don’t work very well with fans on such as PETG, but we definitely recommend using a good fan for PLA, especially at a fast speed. is a 3D technologies publisher that has covered 3D printers, 3D scanners, and 3D software since 2017. First of all, you'll have to copy the DWIN_SET folder as it is to an SD card to flash the latest display firmware to the Ender 3 v2's display. There have been several people who have had their nozzle stuck in the heater block, and they just could not remove it. The over-extrusion can also make this happen because the extra material that is extruded can block up the extrusion pathway, building up pressure and causing the X and Y axis to jump steps. Creality also added better bearing wheels to reduce friction and make the structure stiffer, which improved print quality and added rubber feet to reduce noise.

The simple way to calibrate your X-axis is to turn the eccentric nuts of the wheels and tighten them. In many of today's 3D printers, this process is automated, but it's common for budget 3D printers to stick to manual bed leveling. If you need much larger parts, you will have to go for the Ender 3 Max, but it is unlikely that this is a requirement for most. Honestly, I first had to figure out how the Ender 2 v2 display and the Ender 3 v2 mainboard actually work together. This code, when run, will guide you through the process of getting a near-perfect level on your Ender 3 V2’s print bed.

Though if we did this again, we would tweak the print settings to cover for the layer gaps and holes, you can clearly see from this layer height test that you get notably better results at 0.

Their narratives are a kaleidoscope of ideas, weaving together intricate plots, unforgettable characters, and thought-provoking themes that challenge the boundaries of imagination. If you’re using BLTouch with your Ender 3 V2, then you’ll need to add one more bit of G-code right after G28. The Ender-3 V2 Neo may not have a touch screen display, but there’s something to love about its user interface – the model preview function.Unless it’s particularly large, you should be alright – but if it’s particularly large like a cosplay helmet, you might want to consider the larger Ender 5 Plus (or brand-new Ender 5 Neo range! So in the last video and article, I talked already about how to install the latest Creality firmware on the Ender 3 v2. Creality includes its own 3D printing software, Creality Slicer, on an SD card that is included with the printer. Even at higher speeds it mostly maintains high precision and quality, and honestly we pushed it way beyond the settings you should be using it at on a day-to-day, so a couple of the models that have small imperfects and gaps would have come out perfect if we’d ran the print on calmer settings.
